Brit singer Robbie Williams has given the world its first glimpse of new baby daughter, Theodora Rose.
Williams, who welcomed the newborn into the world Tuesday along with his wife Ayda Field, took to Twitter Friday posting a picture of the youngster curled up and sleeping on his tattooed chest.
“DADDIES SECOND NAPPY CHANGE ….TEDDY’S SECOND DAY ON THE PLANET…” the 38-year-old wrote below the photo.
Williams and Field, who married in 2010, announced that they were expecting their first child on March 30, with Williams revealing that they were expecting a baby girl in May.
“I’ve been keeping a secret from you all…me and Ayda are going to be a Mummy and Daddy this year…!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” the singer posted at the time.
The Take That singer previously said he did not want to bring his daughter up in Los Angeles where he and Ayda currently live.
“I don’t want to educate our baby in LA because I would much prefer her to have English sensibilities,” he said. “I want the baby to have an English passport, we’re still figuring out exactly whereabouts the baby is going to be brought up.”
And, while he seems perfectly content being a father now, Williams previously revealed that he was scared to death about the responsibility of becoming a dad.
“There have been moments where I’ve wanted to run away,” he said on Capital FM, prior to Teddy’s birth. “Recently Ayda was in a full-on grump, saying: ‘Get this out of me!’ And it was right around this point that I went: ‘We’re really having this, aren’t we? Can I run off,’” he joked.
