Rihanna’s FENTY x PUMA Fall 2016 Collection To Drop Next Month? Fans Gear Up For Next Installment In Collaboration

Rihanna has officially released the next installment in her ongoing collaboration with Puma for the songstress’ casual footwear collection, FENTY PUMA by Rihanna, with the release of a new colorway for her faux fur slides on August 5. While fans still can’t get enough of Rihanna and Puma’s stylish slides, trainers, and creepers, all of which have sold out within hours of being restocked online, it looks like some fans are holding out for the debut of Rihanna and Puma’s impending clothing collection which made its debut at New York Fashion Week back in February.

Following the success of Rihanna’s initial Creeper sneaker release with the German sportswear brand in December, Rihanna unveiled her full FENTY PUMA Fall/Winter 2016 collection during NYFW with the help of famous faces such as Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid, and Bella Hadid who were transformed into “semi-goth girls” complete with painted hair, jet black lipstick, and the collection’s Japanese-street culture inspired athletic wear pieces, Vogue reports.

The collection, which included both menswear and womenswear pieces, featured everything from a Velvet Bomber Jacket to a Lace-Up Jersey Corset as well as tops, dresses, and bodysuits complete with the collection’s signature lace-up silhouette for a style that is both sexy and functional.

Despite the attention surrounding Rihanna and Puma’s casual footwear collaboration, neither Rihanna nor Puma has made an official announcement regarding an arrival date for the “This Is What You Came For” singer’s clothing collaboration with the brand. However, with the fall season fast approaching and the hype surrounding Rihanna and Puma’s sold-out collaborations only continuing to garner more attention, some fans have already begun to save their money in anticipation of the release of Rihanna’s clothing collection with the brand.

According to High Snobiety, Rihanna’s FENTY x PUMA Fall 2016 collection is expected to arrive in retailers in September 2016, although there’s currently no indication which retailers will be carrying the collection as of yet.

Further fueling the speculation, several fan sites have pointed out that pieces from Rihanna and Puma’s upcoming collection have begun to grace the pages of Vogue for the magazine’s coveted September issue, including appearances from Naomi Campbell and Gigi Hadid, who both appeared at Rihanna’s NYFW debut for the collaboration back in February.

Naomi Campbell dons several pieces from Rihanna’s FENTY PUMA by Rihanna collection in Vogue Italia‘s September issue, including a cropped black-and-white hoodie with oversized sleeves, a monochromatic number featuring a lace-up hoodie and thigh-high boots, and an all-black pullover complete with matching track pants and a pair of all-white Creepers to complete the edgy look, Fashion Bomb Daily reports.

Similarly, Gigi Hadid can be seen rocking a pair of Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma black-and-white stiletto sneakers in her spread for American Vogue‘s September issue.

While models have not been shy about their love for Rihanna’s highly anticipated sportswear collection with the brand, Drake has also been photographed showing his support for Rihanna’s clothing line after he was spotted donning a gray fur zip-up hoodie from the collection back in July.
