First Look At Lindsay Lohan And Charlie Sheen In ‘Scary Movie 5′
The first image of Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan in Scary Movie 5 has found its way online, according to Worst Previews. The pairing, which brings together two of Hollywood’s most notorious modern-day figures, is sure to generate some interest in the franchise, which continues to chug right along despite the lackluster reviews and box office performance. It’s kind of like the Police Academy movies: Everyone seemed to hate them, yet producers kept churning out sequels.
The image, which has been embedded beneath this article, shows Charlie Sheen and professional troublemaker Lindsay Lohan in bed together during the opening sequence. For a while, it appeared that producers may have trouble getting the embattled starlet on the set. Shortly after reports that Lindsay was unhappy with some of the jokes made at her expense, she suddenly came down with a case of walking pneumonia.
“Lindsay missed every meeting she had for the film, including script reads and wardrobe meetings,” a source explained to the Vancouver Sun. Then she missed her flight to Atlanta on Sunday to shoot the movie. The producers had been getting signs Friday that she was a mess, and would not be fit to work. [The scene] went pretty hard at Lindsay … she’d been freaking out about it for weeks.”
Internet Movie Database describes the film as follows:
“Snooty, aloof, imperious, and oversexed French dance company director Pierre is putting on a new production. Jody, a Caucasian late-20s mother of two and her late-20s African American friend Kendra are both vying for the lead in the production. Jody’s extremely controlling former dancer mother is determined that Jody will have the brilliant career that eluded her. The highly skilled mid-30s Diva veteran dancer with the company, Heather Daltry, gets cut from the production and goes berserk.”
Scary Movie 5 — which stars High School Musical graduate Ashley Tisdale, Terry Crews, Marisa Saks, Erica Ash, Simon Rex, and Molly Shannon — opens in theaters on April 19, 2013.
