Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Enjoy A ‘Really Special Night’ Amid Engagement Rumors
As Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton continue to face rumors of an upcoming engagement, the pair enjoyed a “special night” together during one of Stefani’s recent concerts.
While sources claimed that “getting married is a priority” for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, the couple took the stage in Detroit, Michigan, on the eve of Stefani’s one-year anniversary of her divorce from Gavin Rossdale and sang “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”
“In between her set at the DTE Energy Music Theatre, the lead singer of No Doubt brought Blake Shelton out on stage to perform their duet,” E! News revealed on August 2.
According to concertgoers, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton shared a hug after their song, and Stefani later said it was “a really special night.”

Gwen Stefani’s divorce from Gavin Rossdale was announced at this time last year and came as a shock to many. While Hollywood divorces aren’t out of the ordinary, Gwen Stefani and her rock star husband appeared to be a great couple and had been married for 13 years before their split. They also welcomed three children together, Kingston, 10, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2.
Following Gwen Stefani’s divorce, her relationship with Shelton was confirmed. A short time later, Us Weekly claimed her marriage had ended due to Rossdale’s alleged years-long affair with their former nanny, Mindy Mann, who never confirmed or denied the report.
While the report gained a lot of attention due to its controversial nature, Gwen Stefani remained focused on her kids and her relationship. Now, she and Shelton are said to be on the verge of an engagement.
“[Blake Shelton] hasn’t been this happy in years. They’re both in this for the long haul,” the Us Weekly source revealed to readers on August 3.
“They say things like, ‘When we get married’ all the time,” a Gwen Stefani source added. “They have plans for their future together and have talked about where they will live and the possibility of more children.”
Although Shelton is reportedly content playing step dad to Gwen Stefani’s sons, she is said to be “actively trying to have a baby with Blake.”
A second report also spoke of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s future together.
“[Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton] are not engaged yet,” a source close to Gwen Stefani told People Magazine. “Everyone is expecting it to happen at some point, though.”

“It seems the timing [for an engagement] just hasn’t been right,” the source explained. “But [Gwen Stefani] is very, very happy with Blake. She always acts giddy when she talks about Blake.”
Gwen Stefani is currently in the midst of her “This Is What the Truth Feels Like Tour,” which began last month, and Blake Shelton is filming the 11th season of The Voice.
“Blake has been very excited for her. He understands the pressure of a tour before it all kicks off, and he is [Gwen Stefani]’s biggest fan,” the source continued. “Their relationship is almost too good to be true. They are very much alike and really have a very special relationship. All the things that need to work out for two people to merge lives have worked out.”
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have not yet responded to the latest round of engagement rumors, but they have been known to joke about their future online in the past so fans should keep their eyes peeled for a witty response.
