Is Jennifer Lopez Pregnant? Or Has The Star Simply Been Passed The Pregnancy Rumor Torch By Jennifer Aniston?
It seems like since Jennifer Aniston made her frustrations known about all of the pregnancy rumors she is constantly the subject of, tabloids have moved on to other notable women in Hollywood. This time around it’s Jennifer Lopez’ turn to take on the pregnancy rumor title.
Life & Style churned out a story on August 3 claiming that the mother of two is pregnant with her third little one. The tabloid claims that reliable sources close to JLo and her boyfriend Casper Smart have confirmed the news and state that Casper has been pushing the diva to have a baby with him for some time now.

Wonderwall shares that these supposed insiders have now broken the unverified news that Casper and Jen are set to welcome their first child together. Casper is apparently elated and treating Jennifer “like a queen” since the news was made known, and is also reportedly “waiting on her hand and foot.”
Sources also claimed that Lopez made having a third child a priority and is happy that they will supposedly soon welcome a “healthy baby-boy or girl.”
Casper, 29, has been at the diva’s every command when it comes to her cravings, says the tabloid, noting that anything she wants “he gets it for her — sometimes even before she asks.” Additionally, the source shares that Casper had hopes for a son over a daughter. About the choreographer the insider states “Casper is over the moon, too, and hoping for a son.”
The 47-year-old triple threat entertainer already has 8-year-old twins Max and Emme, whom she shares with her ex-husband, singer Marc Anthony. Sources say that the current couple is referring to this new addition as a “miracle baby.”
The source continues,”[Jen] is ready to settle down again and make Casper the perfect father she knows he will be,” attempting to paint the picture of a perfect and happy family.
However, as lovely as all of this sounds, Gossip Cop has gotten to the bottom of the lies being spewed by this unreliable publication and shares that Lopez is simply now the victim of the same incessant tabloid strategy that Aniston has been for decades.
“Gossip Cop quickly shut down the pregnancy rumor, citing their own insider close to the couple who debunked the rumors as being ‘false.’ Their sources insist that Jennifer is not pregnant, and that the story is fake. It’s not the first time Life & Style have published inaccurate stories about Jennifer and Casper’s family plans.”
As GC notes, earlier this year, the story in the tabloid was that Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart were planning to adopt and then followed this up with an incorrect story that Lopez was planning to relocate to New York City.
This latest pregnancy rumor comes on the heels of a very pertinent essay that was penned by Cake star Jennifer Aniston. The actress noted her annoyance and frustration at the fact that media outlets focus on the maternal and the external when it comes to writing about women, which leads to “dehumanizing” women and “objectification.”

The star’s words ring true, and this latest story by the tabloid is proof that the pattern will take more than an essay to break. Aniston’s words, as noted, were shared by the Huffington Post last month.
“For the record, I am not pregnant. What I am is fed up. I’m fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of ‘journalism,’ the ‘First Amendment’ and ‘celebrity news.’ The objectification and scrutiny we put women through is absurd and disturbing. The way I am portrayed by the media is simply a reflection of how we see and portray women in general, measured against some warped standard of beauty.”
