Watch Barcelona Vs. Leicester City Stream Live: International Champions Cup Test For Surprise English Champions

The miracle English Premier League Champions Leicester City face their most significant test since lifting the trophy, when they take on Spanish La Liga kings Barcelona F.C. in an International Champions Cup match that will stream live on Wednesday — a match that the Foxes would like to win, if only to prove that they belong among Europe’s elite clubs.

Leicester City’s superstar, Jamie Vardy, is expected to make his preseason debut for the English champs, who overcame 5,000-1 odds to win the most improbable league title in English football history last season. After England’s humiliating exit from the 2016 European Championships last month, Vardy has been recovering from wrist surgery.

Leicester City faced French champions Paris Saint-Germain in their most recent preseason friendly outing — and absorbed a 4-0 drubbing.

But facing Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, and the elite Barcelona squad may prove an even sterner challenge for Leicester City.

But in addition to the return of Vardy, the Foxes may also receive a lift from the planned debut of Poland international prodigy Bartosz Kapustka, signed for £7.5 million — about $10 million in American cash — only this week.

The 19-year-old was the breakout player for his national team in the 2016 Euros.

Barcelona will also feature several of their international superstar players, including Messi, Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Turkey international Arda Turan.

Missing from the Barcelona side, however, will be enough players to make up an all-star roster of their own, including Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Claudio Bravo, Ivan Rakitic, Thomas Vermaelen, Jordi Alba, and Douglas Pereira.
