Kelsey Grammer Walks Out On Piers Morgan

Kelsey Grammer was scheduled to appear on Piers Morgan Tonight on Wednesday but the Frasier star walked out minutes before his interview.

Piers, who has had several guests walkout on him this year, offered an explanation on Twitter.

Morgan said:

“Kelsey Grammer was supposed to be on my show now but ran out of the building. Strange.”

According to the talk show host, Grammer left the building because a photo of his ex-wife, Camille Grammer, was used to open Piers Morgan Tonight on Wednesday. Morgan wrote:

“So, Kelsey Grammer saw a photo of his ex-wife Camille Grammer in the open to our show and legged it. Extraordinary. Never had this happen before. I like Kelsey Grammer personally, but this was a shockingly unprofessional thing to do. I wasn’t even going to mention his ex-wife! I had a very friendly chat with Kelsey backstage, He said he was really looking forward to the interview. Weird.”

Of course, Kelsey feels slightly different about the situation.

A rep for the Boss star told The Hollywood Reporter:

“Piers needs to take responsibility for what he did to Kelsey. It’s called accountability.”

Kelsey and Camille divorced last year after 13-years of marriage. Grammer has talked about his ex-wife in interviews before but Piers apparently crossed a line last night.
