Tamar Braxton Blasted By Nene Leakes: ‘Cut The Bulls***!’
Nene Leakes appears to be putting Tamar Braxton and a fan on serious blast.
Nene got into a heated Instagram spat over the former Real co-host and Braxton Family Values reality star this week, where she sensationally slammed a fan who claimed she and Tamar look alike.
The drama all went down in the comments section of one of Leakes’ most recent selfies, where the Shade Room reported that Nene seriously hit back after a fan pointed out their similarities.
“B**** please,” Leakes hit back in the comments section of the selfie, which she uploaded to the photo sharing site on June 31.
“Cut the bulls*** out,” Nene then continued, “I’m not Tamar! I might be SLAYmar though.”
It’s not clear exactly why Nene had such an aversion to being compared to Tamar, though the fan, who goes by the Instagram username @thickthighs_lighteyes, then replied to Leakes’ shady comments, claiming that she actually meant the comparison to be a compliment.
“B**** look again you insecure old b****,” the Instagram user hit back at Leakes amid the Braxton lookalike drama. “It’s not a bad thing, y’all must go to the same plastic [surgeon].”
Nene has yet to respond to the comment, though she did admit to having a second nose job during a June appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, where she got candid with host Andy Cohen about undergoing the procedure for the second time.
“I had my nose done again. Yes, I did,” Nene told Cohen. “It was a real medical reason why I had to get it done again. My cartilage was growing in my nose, and my tip was touching the top of my lip.”
Nene Leakes then continued to dish the details on the procedure, long before her Instagram drama over Tamar Braxton, admitting that while her second operation was because of medical complications, her first was because she wanted to make her nose “more beautiful.”
“When I did the first time I only had my nostrils taken in on the side and this time I had more cartilage moved around,” Leakes revealed during her Watch What Happens Live appearance. “I didn’t love my nose and I wanted to do my nose to make it more beautiful for myself.”
It was shortly after her appearance on the late-night show earlier this year where fans first began to compare Nene to Tamar, claiming that Leakes’ second nose job made her look similar to the Braxton sister.
“Nene is starting to look like Tamar wtf,” Twitter user @jjunqli tweeted out, while @emmaplex showed off a snap from Nene’s appearance on the show alongside the caption, “I was legit confused on whether this was Nene or Tamar.”

Even Hollywood Life commented on the similarities between the Real Housewives of Atlanta star and Tamar, reporting that “with the change she actually looks a lot like Tamar Braxton.”
It’s not clear exactly why Leakes appeared to throw some pretty serious shade at Tamar following the recent comparisons, as she and Braxton have appeared to be pretty close friends for a while now.
Back in December 2015, Leakes took to Instagram to show off a snap of herself and Tamar out to dinner with their husbands, Gregg Leakes and Vince Herbert, where she told her followers that she and Braxton were enjoying a “couples night” with their men.
“These guys totally love and support us!,” Nene added in the photo’s caption.
Nene also posted a snap of herself spending time with Tamar and Vince in October 2014, where she told fans that she and Braxton were enjoying a “Sunday Funday.”
Tamar even invited Leakes to appear alongside her and a number of her closest friends, including Shateria Moragne, Malika Haqq, and Khadijah Haqq, in the music video for her single “If I Don’t Have You.”
