Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Reportedly Struggling As Blake Tweets Photo Of Miranda Lambert Look-Alike

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are both busy touring, which is a positive thing for their music careers. However, being on the road is reportedly taking a toll on the couple’s high-profile romance.

Gwen and Blake have multiple songs about one another on their respective albums, This Is What the Truth Feels Like and If I’m Honest, and they perform many of these tunes at their concerts. This means that they think about each other quite often while they’re up on stage. However, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton reportedly feel like they just don’t get to spend enough time together now that they’re both so busy. A source recently told Hollywood Life that “the honeymoon part of” Gwen and Blake’s relationship is over, and all the distance between them is making it necessary for them to put a little more effort into their relationship.

“Now that Gwen is on the road touring, keeping the romance alive with Blake has been a real challenge. She’s on the road a lot and he’s doing a lot of shows and appearances too so they don’t get to see each other as much as when they first fell in love. It’s a lot of hard work and they are struggling cause they don’t get to see each other as much as they would like to.”

However, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are managing to find time to meet up during their tours, and Blake has even performed with Gwen at multiple concerts. As the Inquisitr previously reported, he took the stage with Gwen last month during the second leg of her tour at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The couple made the crowd go crazy with a surprise performance of their duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” and they did it again the next night when Gwen performed at the Jiffy Lube Live Arena in Bristow, Virginia. Blake also joined Gwen Stefani for the first leg of her tour in Mansfield, Massachusetts, but he didn’t join her onstage. Instead, he watched from the sidelines and tweeted about the show.

Even though Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton aren’t letting their time-consuming careers keep them apart, some Shefani fans are worried about the couple; they fear that Blake’s social media activity might be hurting Gwen. On Sunday, Blake responded to a tweet from a female fan wearing a shirt that read, “Blake wants me.”

One of Blake’s Twitter followers pointed out that the fan in the photo resembles Blake’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, and others expressed concern that Blake is falling back on his pre-Gwen Stefani habits by retweeting photos of attractive fans.

“I agree, I was thinking to myself ‘he has a g/f’. I’d be pissed if I were her. #justmyopinion Love Blake, tho!” one of Blake’s followers tweeted.

However, Shefani fans shouldn’t be too concerned about Blake’s loyalty to Gwen. During his recent interview with Billboard, the “Came Here to Forget” singer made it abundantly clear that Gwen Stefani is the only woman for him. He also revealed that he first developed romantic feelings for Gwen when they started emailing and texting each other constantly, so he Gwen are used to using technology to feel closer whenever they’re apart.

“It went from that, to checking in on each other once a week through email — ‘This s**t happened to me, what happened to you?’ — to maybe three times a week, then every day, to ‘Hey, here’s my phone number if you ever want to text.’ Next thing I know, I wake up and she’s all I care about, and I’m ­wondering if she feels the same about me.”

During an interview with People, Gwen revealed that she likes to send selfies to Blake so that he doesn’t miss seeing her face whenever they can’t be together. The singer said that she snapped the makeup-free photo below when she was trying to take the perfect picture to send to her beau.
