Jules Wainstein On Husband’s Lack Of Interest In Their Kids: ‘My Heart Breaks All Over Again’

Jules Wainstein has been keeping a low profile in New York after it was revealed that her husband, Michael Wainstein, had been cheating on her. When she was filming The Real Housewives of New York, Jules noticed that her husband was very absent. He was always on his phone, and he didn’t put his children first. Wainstein had really hoped that her husband would step up when it came to helping out around the house, so she was heartbroken to see her children crying for their father when Jules was spending time with her parents in Miami. Now, Jules is revealing that she’s completely heartbroken as she’s reliving her husband’s betrayal.

According to a new Bravo report, Jules Wainstein reveals that she wants to be there for her children, and her parents raised her differently than how Michael is acting on the show. Of course, Jules didn’t know it at the time, but her husband was having an affair. He filed for divorce last month, and he is ready to leave his marriage behind. No word on whether he wants to share custody of the children.

“Being raised in an unconditionally loving environment has given me the grounding and strength to get through anything…even the heartbreak of divorce. My heart breaks all over again watching the show now and listening to Jagger crying on the phone. I tried to brush it off in front of my parents, because I didn’t want them to be concerned, especially with my dad having just recently returned home from the hospital, but I broke down the minute I was alone. Protecting my kids is the single most important thing in my life,” Jules Wainstein reveals in her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of New York, sharing that she’s completely heartbroken reliving the drama on the show.

Michael Wainstein hasn’t said much about his affair, but it is clear that he’s moving on with his life. According to Daily Mail, Wainstein was spotted in New York with his mistress, a woman named Elyse Bensusan. She’s a 36-year-old married woman, and she looks a lot like his wife, Jules Wainstein. Apparently, things aren’t really great between Michael and Jules, but one can imagine that Jules is heartbroken over the betrayal. Daily Mail reveals that the police was called to their home last month due to accusations of physical assault. And in case you were wondering, Elyse is still wearing her wedding ring, even though she’s been spotted holding hands with Michael. No word on whether she has children.

Even though Jules Wainstein is dealing with her issues at home, she’s still trying to keep up with the drama that’s happening on The Real Housewives of New York. Jules went to Miami with the ladies, and she’s super happy that she’s not involved with the Thomas D’Agostino drama. One can imagine that the drama is a nice relief for Jules, who could be wondering about what is happening in her marriage as she’s in Miami.

“It was great to see Luann literally glowing with happiness. Every woman deserves to feel that way, and the yacht was incredible. Carole “genuinely happy for her”? I have to call bulls— on that one, but that’s just my opinion. Kudos to Sonja for her grace under pressure. I’m not sure how many other women I know would act so selflessly and with such class in the same situation,” Jules Wainstein reveals in her Bravo blog, adding, “I’m happy to not be part of the Tom love triangle. Just the usual trying to make the best of our girls trip. TRUST me when I say I tried!”
