Drew Barrymore Talks Motherhood, ‘I Can’t Wait To Have Children’

Drew Barrymore and her hubby Will Kopelman are expecting their first child any day now, and so far they have been mostly silent about her pregnancy.

The 37-year-old opened up to Haute Living recently about her first child, and it seems that the actress is really looking forward to her baby’s arrival, reports E! Online. Barrymore told the magazine that:

“I can’t wait until I have my children.”

Barrymore also gave a small insight into her parenting style as well, saying:

“I love the idea that they don’t have to do something that they have no interest in, that they can do something completely opposite if they want to. I will be so surprised if they don’t want to do something involving food or wine or art, but I’ll be OK with it. I just want to build fun, great things for my family.”

CBS News notes that we shouldn’t expect Drew Barrymore to let acting and directing to take a backseat, even with her new baby. Barrymore stated that:

“I want to do it all. I love film, but I also love wine, food and traveling. I would love to be a travel writer. I’d be so stoked.”

Barrymore has also become somewhat of a wino, releasing her own label called Barrymore Wines. She received a gold medal in a French wine competition in 2011 for her Barrymore Pinot Grigio. The actress and director confessed that, “I love wine. I think it’s nice to do what you really love in life, occupationally and recreationally.”

Drew Barrymore’s entire interview hits newsstands on September 20.
