‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice Says Cheating Rumor Conversation Was Innocent

Teresa Giudice is happy to be home on The Real Housewives of New Jersey as she’s spending time with her children and her husband. On last night’s episode of the show, Teresa revealed that there were new cheating rumors circulating in the press and she told her husband, Joe Giudice, that she would not be interested in forgiving him if he had cheated on her during her time away at the Danbury Correctional Facility. Joe never admitted to cheating on her, but many people believe that he’s been carrying on a relationship for a while based on previous episodes of the show and his outrageous behavior a few years ago on a trip to California.

According to a new Bravo report, Teresa Giudice is now revealing that she doesn’t mind people asking about her marriage, as long as the questions are genuine and out of concern. Since Teresa already has a history with some of the housewives, it makes sense that she doesn’t want to talk about her marriage troubles with some of her Real Housewives of New Jersey co-stars. If Jacqueline Laurita started questioning Teresa about Joe, one can imagine she would shut down the conversation immediately.

“I really like Siggy. She seems very open and honest and doesn’t beat around the bush! I appreciated the fact that she asked me directly about the tabloid stories she read about me and Joe, rather than talk about them with other people behind my back. They weren’t true, and I was glad to set the record straight about it. Since Siggy and I had just met, I knew she had no other motive in asking me about it other than being concerned for me…it was innocent…that’s why I was OK with it,” Teresa Giudice reveals in her blog for Bravo, sharing that she didn’t think that Ziggy had any motives in asking about her marital troubles.

Of course, Teresa Giudice has been plagued by cheating rumors for a long time, so hearing stories about her marriage isn’t something new. Maybe she was just worried that something happened between her husband and another woman while she was in jail, as she couldn’t quite control everything he did while she was away. According to People magazine, Teresa Giudice is trying to avoid reading any of the tabloid stories about her husband, as she doesn’t want to give it any attention.

Instead, Giudice is trying to move forward with her life after spending a year behind bars. While in jail, Teresa wrote her memoir, Turning The Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, and on last night’s episode, Teresa started recording the audio version of her book. On her way to the recording, fans learned that Teresa Giudice had paid off the restitution she owed to the government, which was rumored to be close to $250,000. She managed to pay that off within three weeks of being released.

“It was fun to watch myself recording the audio version of my new book, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again at Simon & Schuster, too! But it also reminded me of how emotional I got while reading the parts about being away from my daughters while I was at “camp.” I couldn’t get through a sentence without crying! Thank God Ben Rimalower was there to help me through it all!” Teresa Giudice explains on her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

What do you think of Teresa Giudice’s comments about her marriage? Do you think Joe cheated on her while she was in prison, or do you think they are just easy targets because he’s so against the tabloids?
