Ramona Singer Fights Back After Criticism: Did She Go Too Far On ‘RHONY’?

Ramona Singer is known for being an outspoken woman on The Real Housewives of New York. Singer speaks her mind, and she often gets herself into trouble with her friends because she’s a bit too honest, and she doesn’t really think of people’s feelings when she shares her thoughts and opinions.

When Luann de Lesseps announced her relationship with Thomas D’Agostino, Ramona quickly pointed out that he was still telling his ex-wife that he loved her, and he even gave her jewelry for Christmas. So, is Singer going too far with her comments on The Real Housewives of New York? Well, she doesn’t quite think so, and she’s rocking her confidence all over the place.

According to a new tweet, Ramona Singer doesn’t really care too much about what people think of her. It’s no secret that Singer’s controversial thoughts result in high ratings, and she knows what to do to cause trouble and drama. And while Ramona may be able to justify her decision in fronting Luann about dating a man she once dated herself, Singer is now also justifying why she should be wearing a bikini. There’s nothing stopping this mother of one.

“For those that love to make rules for what age women should wear a bikini. Think again. If you can rock it you should wear it #Confident,” Ramona Singer tweeted over the weekend, clearly addressing the viewers who didn’t think she had the body to wear a bikini.

And the reactions to her bikini body were indeed split. While some people encouraged her to rock out with her bikini, others thought that she should cover up since she’s in her mid-50s and doesn’t exactly have the body of a 20-year-old.

“Except…You aren’t rocking it. Think of how few men are interested in a relationship with you. Just willing to spend 1 nite,” one person wrote to Ramona Singer, clearly body-shaming her for wearing a bikini.

Even though Singer is very confident in the clothes she wears and the business she’s created, she’s clearly not happy with the way her personal relationships are being leaked to the press. It’s no secret that Luann has been bragging to the tabloids about her new relationship, as she’s convinced that she’s found her soul mate. But Ramona Singer isn’t happy about her personal relationships – dating or sexual – being tabloid fodder.

“I don’t like to see my name in the paper linked with men. I have had two serious relationships since Mario, and their names were never mentioned. I had four or five dates with Tom, and it’s all over the press. Not cool, Luann,” Ramona Singer explains in her blog for Bravo, pointing out that de Lesseps has gone to the press about her relationship with Thomas and said that she’s now dating Singer’s ex.

And Ramona is very vocal about her past relationship with Thomas D’Agostino. While he keeps downplaying that they were together, Singer wants everyone to know that they did go on several dates, and they were indeed happy. And then Luann surfaced and essentially took him away. Now, Singer is left wondering why Thomas is lying about their past. Maybe he wants to protect his relationship with Luann.

“Why would any man lie to his fiancée about who he slept with or dated? We as women don’t like to advertise it and usually keep this stuff under wraps. Tom’s body language with Sonja on the boat says it all. To say he was awkward and very uncomfortable being next to Sonja is an understatement. All I can say is the last episodes are beyond spell binding with what happens and comes out,” Ramona Singer questions on her blog, according to Bravo, clearly not holding back her feelings about the subject matter even though it could hurt Luann.
