Lena Dunham Flashed Her Bum In A Bikini While In Florida Filming For The Final Season Of ‘Girls’

Lena Dunham flashed her bum in a bikini on Instagram this past weekend while in Florida filming for the final season of her show, Girls. The actress shared her trip down to Florida with her fans on Instagram with the hashtag #girlsdoesflorida.

Lena Dunham posed on a boat in a sporty white bikini with yellow and blue trim. The actress, writer, and director of Girls also sported a black sun hat to protect her fair skin and looked to be makeup-free while smiling for the camera and making a peace sign with her hand.

Dunham was seen most recently at the Democratic National Convention last week advocating for Democratic presidential nominee Hilary Clinton. People reported that she spoke at the DNC with actress America Ferrara encouraging people to get involved with the upcoming election.

Lena Dunham retweeted Hilary Clinton’s shout-out to the two actresses at the convention.

Days after the DNC in Philadelphia, Lena enjoyed her getaway down to Florida and gave Girls fans their first hints about what the upcoming and final season of the HBO series might entail.

Could the ladies of Girls be headed down to Florida during Season 6? Co-stars Allison Williams, Adam Driver, Jemima Kirke, and Zosia Mamet were nowhere to be found on Dunham’s trip. However, she did tag Girls producer Jenni Konner in a post the day before her bikini boat snaps showing off her quirky style at the airport. Dunham joked with Konner at the airport while wearing a pair of water shoes and bright-colored leggings.

Dunham has seen an incredible amount of success with her show but had nevertheless declared Season 6 to be the final season of her hit series on HBO.

“[Season 6] is the way that we’re thinking about it right now and we’re starting to think about sort of how to wrap up the storylines of these particular young women.

“I started working on this show when I was 23, and now I’m going to be 30 so it kind of feels right that this show kind of sandwiched my 20s and then I go off into the world!”

Another hint for Season 6 arose last week when the Daily Mail spotted Dunham out in New York City wearing a prosthetic baby bump while filming for her character, Hannah Horvath.

Lena Dunham was seen days earlier kissing co-star Adam Driver, suggesting that the series will end with their characters settling down and having a child together.

However, Season 5 ended with Driver’s character having been romantically involved with Jessa, played by Jemima Kirke.

Lena has not told fans, who are anticipating the season’s premiere, much else about the upcoming season or how she will plan to have the series come to an end.

“We look forward to creating a sixth season that will honor our amazing cast, crew and fans. And in the Girls universe, nothing ever ends too neatly.”

It will be a bit more of a wait for Girls Season 6 to release any official promos on HBO. The series is set to premiere sometime in the winter of 2017.

Lena Dunham announced on Twitter last week that she would be offering fans a chance to join her and the cast of Girls on the set of Season 6. Dunham is collaborating with Omaze, which offers once-in-a-lifetime experiences that benefit charitable causes.

The rest of the fans of the show will have to rely on Lena Dunham’s Instagram hints for now and wait to see if the Florida sunshine state will play into the final season of Girls.
