Jinger Duggar To Have A New Jersey Wedding? Jinger Duggar May Have Her NYC Dreams Come True With Marriage To Jeremy Vuolo
Jinger Duggar was immediately identified as a possible Duggar rebel when she was filmed on 19 Kids and Counting stating she would prefer to live in a city. However, Michelle Duggar quickly squashed her hopes by noting that Jinger really meant she wanted to live within 15 minutes of a Walmart and that “New York City is way above what we would ever consider a city where she should move.” Though Michelle and Jim Bob don’t want their daughter near the Big Apple, it seems that Jinger may get her wish after all as she announced she is engaged to New Jersey native Jeremy Vuolo, and hinted that the couple may not exchange wedding vows in Arkansas.

The Huffington Post reported back in 2012 that Jinger had big plans to get out of the country and move to a big city. In an interview for Season 6 of 19 Kids and Counting, Jinger noted that she would prefer to live in a city, exclaiming “city, please, city!” when Jessa said Jinger would not be happy living hours from civilization.
“I’d be OK anywhere but the city would be awesome. City please city please!”
Though Jinger seemed enthusiastic about city living, which is not surprising given her love for coffee, fashion, shopping, and photography, Michelle Duggar quickly shot down the idea of Jinger moving to a city like NYC, claiming it is “way above what we would ever consider a city where she should move.” According to Radar Online, Michelle “clarified” Jinger’s remarks by stating that when Jinger said “city,” she really meant she just didn’t want to live more than 15 minutes away from Walmart.
“Jinger didn’t mean she wanted to move to New York City. She meant that she wants to live closer to a city. We’re talking right near a city, but not New York City. Jinger means she wanted to live 15 minutes from a Wal-Mart. We live so far out of town on 20 acres, but Jinger wants to live closer to town, so she doesn’t have to drive so far to go shopping.”
However, it looks like Michelle may have been living in a dream world as Jinger has been spending time in New Jersey, just a hop away from New York City, with her fiancé, Jeremy Vuolo. In fact, in a recent video regarding their wedding plans, Vuolo seems to indicate that the pair may be getting married in New Jersey, not Arkansas.
The International Business Times reports that Jeremy Vuolo recently revealed some details about his upcoming marriage to Jinger Duggar. Speaking outside of his family’s home in New Jersey, Vuolo noted that the pair are hopefully planning a wedding “here” not too long from now.
“I am just so glad to be able say that she is now my fiancée,” Jeremy gushed of his 22-year-old bride-to-be. “I’m excited for the days ahead and hopefully planning a wedding here not too long from now.”
Vuolo also revealed that he actually proposed to Jinger in New York City indicating that he is also a lover of the city like his future wife. With a big city proposal and indications of a New Jersey wedding, things seem to be falling into place for Jinger to achieve her dreams of leaving small town America. In fact, TLC seems to be hinting at the Duggar moving off to bigger places as Jinger and Jeremy’s photo gallery are filled with images of the pair in front of a NYC skyline.
