Chris Brown Joins Snapchat, Teases Behind-The-Scenes Footage From ‘Grass Ain’t Greener’ Music Video

Chris Brown has been teasing the arrival of his “Grass Ain’t Greener” music video since releasing the sultry single back in May, and now it looks as though fans won’t have to wait much longer after Brown took to Snapchat to give followers a behind-the-scenes look at his progress on the upcoming music video.

Brown released “Grass Ain’t Greener” as his latest single in honor of his birthday on May 5, thus further fueling speculation that the track would serve as a lead single off of his impending eighth studio album. Just last week, Chris Brown weighed-in on the new album speculation via Instagram where he announced the official title of his upcoming album while also confirming that “Grass Ain’t Greener” would appear as a lead single for the project.

“Just trying to live…Can’t wait for y’all to hear the new stuff I been working on. All emotions, NEW PRODUCERS, grass ain’t greener!!!! Title: LOST & FOUND( heartbreak on a full moon),” Chris Brown captioned his Instagram post from July 21. The project was previously titled Heartbreak On A Full Moon, Rap-Up reports.

Earlier this month, Chris Brown gave fans an update on the status of the “Grass Ain’t Greener” music video by noting that while the video isn’t completely finished, he’s confident that fans will enjoy the project.

“Y’all gone like the video,” Chris Brown began in an Instagram post concerning the arrival of the “Grass Ain’t Greener” video. “BEEN WORKING MY A** OFF, shooting the rest of the video SUPER SOON, the day we wrap IM RUSHING TO THE EDITING ROOM.”

Chris Brown continued, “I know y’all waiting patiently TEAM BREEZY. BARE WIT ME!! REQUEST AND DOWNLOAD ON ITUNES AND STREAM THIS SONG.”

Now it appears that Brown is busy putting the finishing touches on the video after he took to Snapchat earlier this week to share several behind-the-scenes clips of him and his crew on-location for the “Grass Ain’t Greener” music video.

Brown confirmed his return to Snapchat via Twitter earlier this week, taking to the social media site to encourage fans to follow him under the username “bpchrisbrown.” While Chris has used Snapchat in the past, the “Back To Sleep” singer has been noticeably absent from the social media app in recent months, opting to share content primarily through Instagram, Twitter, and Periscope instead.

However, it looks like Brown is back to utilizing the social media platform to tease his upcoming projects, including sharing a few videos of him and his crew practicing the choreography for the upcoming “Grass Ain’t Greener” video while also giving fans a glimpse of the location that is being used to set the stage for the moody track.

While there’s no official word on when the “Grass Ain’t Greener” video will arrive, Brown has also been hard at work on his upcoming documentary, Welcome To My Life, which the singer noted would be “coming soon” amid rumors of a summer release for the project. Currently, neither Chris Brown nor director Andrew Sandler has confirmed a release date for the documentary, however, Riveting Entertainment’s website indicates that the project is set for a “planned release in Fall 2016.”
