The 2017 ‘Bachelor’ Reportedly To Be Named Monday Night, And Here Is Who Is Leading The Pack

As the season finale of The Bachelorette draws ever closer, there is a lot that fans want to know. They’ll be looking forward to whether JoJo Fletcher chooses Jordan Rodgers or Robby Hayes. They will want to know if something drastic is going to happen on After The Final Rose. Fans will also want to know who Chris Harrison announces as the lead on The Bachelor 2017, and it looks as if that information may already be known.

Spoiler Alert – Please let it be known that there are possible spoilers ahead for the current season of The Bachelorette and next year’s season of The Bachelor. If you don’t want to know them, stop reading now.

There are a number of choices from this season that would make great candidates for the lead next year, but who has emerged as the frontrunner? All signs are pointing in one direction and at the end of those arrows is none other than Luke Pell.

Hollywood Take thinks it is pretty much a given that Luke Pell will be the next Bachelor, because fans absolutely fell in love with him this season. They were devastated when JoJo sent him home and no one quite understood why she did it in the first place, as he was “perfect” for her.

Reality Steve was recently asked if he believes that Luke would be named as next year’s lead guy and he answered in the affirmative. Yes, there are some that think Luke is too laid-back and kind of “boring,” but Steve feels as if all the clues are leading to him as well.

“Sean Lowe didn’t scream ‘Mr. Personality’ in the least bit, and he’s one of the most popular they ever had. Chris Soules was a freakin’ farmer who lived in Bumblef**k, Iowa and he got the gig. It’s not far-fetched at all to think Luke Pell will get it. And he probably will from what I’m hearing.”

There are a few other guys out there who could end up as the next star of The Bachelor, and their names have been mentioned on numerous occasions. Life & Style states that fan-favorite James Taylor could get the gig because he’s just perfect for it and overly sweet.

Chase McNary has a shot at it since he was in the final three going after JoJo, but his actions in the Fantasy Suite may have hurt his chances. Chad Johnson‘s name has also been thrown around, but there may be other things in store for the villain.

At this point, it’s hard to see anyone other than Luke Pell being announced as the next big man looking for love on ABC.

Wet Paint is reporting that ABC is likely going to keep with tradition and have Chris Harrison reveal the next Bachelor on the After The Final Rose special. It will air on Monday night after the season finale of The Bachelorette which will have its own fair share of drama.

Still, there could be the chance that ABC holds off for a while like they did the last two seasons. In those seasons, Chris Soules and Ben Higgins weren’t officially announced for their spots until a month or two after the last episode of The Bachelorette.

Luke Pell is the guy that virtually everyone thought was going to be the ultimate choice of JoJo Fletcher on this season of The Bachelorette, but it simply wasn’t meant to be. After their incredible chemistry, he was not given a rose after the hometown dates, but his time in the spotlight may not yet be over. If things go as the speculation has pointed toward, Chris Harrison will name him the next Bachelor Monday night on After The Final Rose.
