Kylie Jenner Is Not Happy About Turning 19

Kylie Jenner is turning 19 in two weeks time, yet has expressed via Instagram and tearful emoji that she is not entirely thrilled about the looming big day.

On Instagram, Jenner added yet another selfie, looking flawless, as per usual, and added the caption about her upcoming birthday. Entertainment Tonight talked about the post by the reality star and beauty entrepreneur, noting that “with a teary-eyed emoji” Kylie adds “I’ll be 19 in 2 weeks.”

Although birthdays do get more bitter sweet as we head into adulthood, Jenner really needn’t frown over getting one year older when she can easily look back on her 18th year and truly be proud of her accomplishments. The publication reminds of some of these successes Kylie has achieved over her time as an 18-year-old.

“Her LipKit line is selling out left and right (after responding her now-changed Better Business Bureau rating)…Not to mention the already impossible-to-get Kyshadow eye shadow…She’s hitting 19 as a SECOND time homeowner…After a brief split, and seeing where things went with PartyNextDoor, she’s back with her guy, Tyga….She seems closer with her family than ever….And all that is happening while she’s still pretty much putting our selfie game to shame.”

The teen has certainly made her 18th year a memorable one and will likely continue to succeed in all future endeavors she has in store for fans. The reality star has made her mark within the Kardashian-Jenner crew and certainly stands out among the rest as being motivated to put her interests into successful business ventures. As ET stated, Kylie Lip Kits is a massive success. The star is also the new face of the latest Puma campaigns, to her brother-in-law’s distaste. The star was additionally honored with recognition from Time Magazine for her success with her beauty app, which was more popular than older sister Kim’s.

All this, and the teen also has a clothing line with older model sister Kendall, called Kendall + Kylie, which is available at top name department stores.

Although the youngest of the famous family takes heat at times, it’s easy to see why she is so popular. She knows how to market to her fans and keep them interested in her beauty tips and advice. She gets personal with followers by Snapchatting and creating beauty tutorials, while also inviting fans into her closet and showing them how to dress.

However, with all of her Lip Kits success, there is sure to be some drama, as ET noted, the Better Business Bureau originally gave the brand an “F’ rating. Kylie assured the BBB that she would adhere to changes that needed to be made and the organization lifted the rating. Yet, now the teen is facing accusations that she ripped off a blogger’s eye shadow palette for her latest KyShadow product.

Yahoo Beauty relays the details about Kylie’s hottest new product to launch, and the blogger’s qualms.

“While everyone and their mother were scrambling over themselves to snap up one of Kylie’s eyeshadow palettes on Wednesday, New Zealand blogger Shaaanxo, who has 1.3 million followers on Instagram and her own makeup line, was not impressed with the youngest Jenner sister’s latest foray into the beauty world. The blogger, named Shannon, posted a picture to her Twitter account showing the two palettes side by side, showing the similarities in not only the packaging, but also the eyeshadow shades.”

Although there are striking similarities between the two palettes of eye shadow, a number of fans jumped to Kylie’s defense reminding Shannon that there are thousands of bronze palettes out there that are all similar. The publication shares a number of fans’ defensive responses to the blogger.

“Are you serious?? honey she doesn’t even know you exist. She didn’t copy you,” one Twitter user said.

“But literally every natural bronzed eyeshadow palette looks like this,” another said.

“When did you invent Bronze colors and white boxes?” another Kylie fan said.
