‘Big Brother’ Star Frank Eudy Slams Season 18 Showmances, Predicts Which Couple Will Crack First

Frank Eudy was evicted from the Big Brother 18 house, but he still has a lot to say about what’s going on behind those closed doors. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Frank made a prediction on which showmance will blow up first inside the CBS summertime house, and he also dished a couple of showmance-related Zingbot zings.

Frank Eudy was one of four returning Big Brother players this season, alongside Da’Vonne Rogers, Nicole Franzel, and James Huling, but he is now the first one of them out. While Eudy was a fan favorite in Season 14, four years later, his turn on the show has been a bit more polarizing.

In a season that boasts three solid showmances (Nicole and Corey; Paulie and Zakiyah; and James and Natalie), Frank told THR he predicts unlikely couple James and Natalie will crack first.

“I think it is going to be James and Natalie,” Eudy said. “I’ve heard people talk about getting Natalie out of the house just to get James back in the fold with the boys. I would go after Corey and Nicole first… I wanted Nicole out to get Corey on my side.”

Frank also doled out two “zings” for the female showmancers. First, Eudy called out Natalie for flirting with both James and Victor. Frank joked that Natalie has had her “fair share” of showmances already, and he said the brunette beauty must be confused about her type of guy, as jokester James and muscleman Victor couldn’t be more opposite.

Eudy also had words for Nicole, whose Big Brother 16 romance with fellow contestant Hayden Voss resulted in a year-and-a-half post-show relationship.

“I think you should be renamed the queen of the showmance,” Frank said of Nicole. “Who is a better cuddler: Hayden or Corey? Zing!”

Of course, Frank Eudy isn’t the only Big Brother veteran who has noted the number of showmances in the house. Paulie’s brother, Season 16 runner-up Cody Calafiore, told Us Weekly that he warned his brother to stay away from the made-for-TV romances and just focus on his game.

“I absolutely warned him about showmances,” Cody told Us. “I said no showmances ever! [If I could] I would warn him about how close he is getting with Zakiyah and that it is beginning to put a target on his back. But at this point, I feel like he is way too close to Zakiyah to pull away without hurting their relationship. So essentially I’d like to just give him a knock on the head and say, ‘Way to not listen, knucklehead!'”

Cody also joked that his sibling is “definitely more of a ladies man” than he is, and he fears it could hurt him in the long run.

While Frank Eudy and Cody Calafiore are calling out this season’s unlikely lovebirds, Big Brother host Julie Chen made an early prediction that there would be no hookups in Season 18.

“I predict no showmances,” Chen told Entertainment Weekly earlier this month. “This year, no one seems likely to have a love connection. Most likely I guess would be Nicole and Corey.”

While Frank Eudy is poking fun at this season’s love connections, Julie does have a favorite Big Brother couple. She told EW that, hands down, Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly, aka Brenchel, is her all-time favorite BB showmance. The now-married reality show alums recently welcomed a baby girl.

“I grew to love Rachel and her ways and Brendon is as devoted as they come,” Chen said. “They are true soul mates and I am happy Big Brother brought them together. We’re the new dating site.”

Frank Eudy didn’t have a showmance, but his close friendship with fellow Big Brother 18 houseguest Bridgette Dunning did him in. Frank refused to throw Bridgette under the bus to save himself from eviction, and he paid the ultimate price with a one-way ticket home.
