‘The Originals’: Joseph Morgan On Cami’s Death And Klaus’ Pain 5 Years Later [Spoilers]

When The Originals returns with Season 4 next year, what can fans expect from Klaus Mikaelson? Meeting an older Hope and dealing with what Marcel did won’t be the only issues. There will be a new big bad and Joseph Morgan’s character will be reminded of Cami’s death. Find out what the actor had to say about losing Cami and how it will still be painful after five years.

There will be spoilers for The Originals Season 4 below. If you do not want to know what happens when The CW airs new episodes, then please stop reading.

Last season on the supernatural TV show, Davina (Danielle Campbell) and Cami (Leah Pipes) both died. Fans were upset and wondered why the two characters had to leave. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, there are rumors that Davina may return in Season 4. However, that has not been confirmed. As for Cami, it looks like she is permanently gone.

Even though Klaus is in a pain-induced coma, he will wake up. How that will happen is still unknown. Despite being in a deep agony-filled slumber and locked in a tomb, Klaus will still have images and memories in his mind. He will likely be dreaming and the pictures in his head will not be pleasant.

Even though five years is a long time for some people, Klaus is basically sleeping and reliving things over and over again in his mind. So, when the vampire wakes up, how will Cami’s death still affect him? Why did she have to die?

“It’s important to snatch people away when you least expect it,” Joseph Morgan told Hypable. “That informs other characters’ emotions and how they see the world. There’s a lot of anger in Klaus because of what happened to Cami and he’s reminded of that early on in the season.”

As for what to expect from Klaus in Season 4 of The Originals, Morgan said fans will discover that in the very first episode.

“You’re gonna find out in episode one how dangerous he is,” The Originals actor teased. “I’m gonna leave it there.”

Other spoilers for The Originals Season 4 include Summer Fontana landing the role of an older Hope Mikaelson, according to TVLine. Also, expect Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) to have an alliance with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis). However, the two will not be friends.

At Comic-Con 2016, it was revealed that Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) to still be searching for a cure. She will find it in a bisexual werewolf that is being hunted. Her name is Keelin and Christina Moses, previously of Containment, landed the role. However, Keelin won’t be eager to help and will almost be a prisoner of the Mikaelsons. This is because she may hold the key to saving the entire family.

Regarding the new big bad in The Originals, it will be a vampire that has a centuries-old grudge. Who does the villain have a problem with? None other than Klaus Mikaelson. However, the vampire will be a threat to everyone in New Orleans. It turns out that Klaus, Marcel, Vincent, and everyone else will need to work together to survive.

Speaking of Vincent, it was revealed at Comic-Con that he will be the new big bad’s first target.

What do you think of the information that was revealed about Season 4? How will Klaus Mikaelson deal with Cami’s death after he wakes up? Will New Orleans survive the new big bad that is coming in The Originals? What else is going to happen with the characters?

Fans won’t find out until early 2017. That is when new episodes of The Originals will begin airing on The CW network.
