Watch India Vs. West Indies Cricket Live Stream: 2nd Test Day 4 AS India Push Lead To 304 After Declaring With 1 Wicket In Hand

The four-Test series pitting the India national cricket team against the host West Indies moves to Jamaica on Saturday for the second Test, which will stream live as the Windies hope that the same pitch where they last defeated India in a Test match yields the same result this time, enabling the hosts to even the series after suffering the worst home defeat in the legendary history of West Indies Test cricket.

Of course, that most recent win for West Indies over India in a Test match came 14 years ago at Sabina Park in Kingston.

But the Sabina pitch is known for providing plenty for the seam bowlers to work with, often producing tight, low-scoring matches. But what Sabina Park does not produce are draw matches, with 15 Tests in a row played there producing a definitive result.

Of course, Sabina Park is also the venue most closely associated with the glory days of West Indies cricket, when legendary Captain Clive Lloyd deployed his now-famed fast bowling attack, with four dominant pacers who intimidated the opposition into submission.

During a 1976 Test at Sabina Park, India closed both of their innings well short of 10 wickets down, just to give their batsmen some relief from the bruising and relentless assault staged by Andy Roberts, Michael Holding, Colin Croft, and Joel Garner.

But times have long since changed, and this time India hopes to continue their dominance over West Indies in Test matches, relying largely on spin — though pacer Ajinkya Rahane is expected to be key to victory in the second Test.

India won the first Test by an innings and 92 runs, the most dominant win outside of Asia that the Men in Blue have ever recorded.

On Day Three at Sabina Park, India pushed their total to 500 on a rain-marred day of play, declaring their innings at nine wickets with West Indies needing 305 run to take a lead.

Because Jamaica does not observe Daylight Savings Time, that start time will be 11 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time in the United States, 8 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time.

While the India tour of West Indies is scheduled for the four Test matches only, the two cricket nations have been negotiating in recent days to add a three-match T20 series to the tour.

The balance of power would be considerably shifted in a T20 series, a format where current West Indies stars have focused most of their energies, largely due to the financial rewards available by taking part in franchise T20 tournaments around the world, such as the Indian Premier League or the West Indies region’s own Caribbean Premier League.

The West Indies players have become so proficient in the game’s most intense and shortest format that they won the T20 World Cup in India earlier this year.

The catch, however, is that India and West Indies hope to play the three-match T20 series in the United States, in Lauderhill, Florida.

But visa problems may stand in the way of the three-match T20 showdown coming together.
