‘Days Of Our Lives’: Will Andre DiMera Help Jennifer Get Custody Of Chad’s Baby?
Days Of Our Lives spoilers for next week are available. What can fans expect from the Salem residents? It turns out that Jennifer Horton will get help from a surprising source. There is no confirmation on who this person is, but the term “unlikely” was used. Who will help Abigail’s mother, what is it regarding, and what do they want in return?

Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) still plans on suing Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) for custody of Abigail’s baby, Thomas. Days Of Our Lives spoilers for the week of August 1 from She Knows reveal that Jennifer Horton will get assistance from an unlikely source. The report didn’t state what it was regarding. However, Jennifer’s current storyline is the custody battle. Will this help be from someone shady, and does it concern baby Thomas?
Desperate people do desperate things. Right now, Abigail’s mother is determined to get custody of Chad’s son. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Melissa Reeves‘ character thought it would be simple. That is until she was reminded of her drug history. She has only been sober a few months, and a judge might not look favorably on that. Also, as long as Thomas isn’t being neglected or abused, a court would see no need to remove him from Chad’s home. Could Jennifer get so angry and desperate that she would get help from Andre DiMera?
Since getting out of jail, Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) has been doing everything in his power to get revenge. Instead of taking his time, like the DiMeras usually do, Andre is putting his plans in motion quickly. Although his main concern was Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Andre has spent a lot of time talking about Abigail.
As Days Of Our Lives fans recall, Andre told a story about trying to stop Abigail from leaving the DiMera mansion. He also just happened to have a letter from the missing mother. Chad admitted the letter was in Abby’s handwriting, but it didn’t sound like his wife at all.
Next, Andre tried to offer his help and support, suggesting he had contacts that may be able to find Abigail quicker than the authorities. Soon after that, Andre used a downed airplane news report to suggest that Abigail had died. However, why would Thaao Penghlis’ character go to all of this trouble? What is in it for him?
It is no secret that Chad and Andre do not get along. When Andre was released from jail, he tried going back to the DiMera mansion. Not only did Chad tell him to get out, but he demanded that Andre put the money back in the safe.
As Days Of Our Lives fans know, Andre wants control, power, and money. Even though Sami (Alison Sweeney) disappeared with the DiMera’s funds, Chad has come up with making more money. Unlike the rest of his family, Billy Flynn’s character generates income with honest and legitimate business deals. Andre probably has a plan to get Chad’s home, businesses, and money. Seeing the new father suffer would just be a bonus for Andre DiMera.
Just imagine how Chad would react to Abigail’s supposed “death” and losing custody of Thomas. He would completely lose control and nothing would matter to him anymore. Chad is a reasonable man but is also ruled by his emotions. He would have a difficult time just moving on if he lost the only two people in the world that he has left.
Of course, fans know that Abigail is not dead. Soap Central reported that Marci Miller was cast to replace Kate Mansi. She will make her debut when Abby returns to Salem around Christmas.
