Taylor Swift, Tom Hiddleston All Smiles Amid Split Rumors

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have made their appearance amid the split rumors. The couple known as “Hiddleswift” to both their fans and the media were spotted on a romantic date.

According to E! News, Taylor Swift, 26, and Tom Hiddleston, 35, looked very much in love in their recent sighting. The couple was all smiles despite Swift’s controversy with “Kimye” and the apparent split rumors. Swift and Hiddleston were photographed walking hand-in-hand in Santa Monica, California, on Wednesday night, July 27, for a night out. Swift wore a sexy two-piece black velvet outfit with metallic heels, while Hiddleston wore a gray button down shirt with black-belted jeans and gray suede shoes.

The couple were seen eating at the American eatery called Hillstone. Taylor and Tom smiled brightly for the paparazzi who greeted them. According to an eyewitness who ate the venue, Taylor and Tom were happy the entire time.

“It seems like they are always sharing a laugh or inside joke,” the insider told E! News. “They were giggly and sweet.”

Another insider told ET Online that their date night was filled with plenty of PDA.

“[Taylor and Tom] seemed happy and laughing, touching, holding hands. They were both smiling a lot,” another eyewitness told the outlet. “He kissed her at the table.”

However, they weren’t totally alone. The insider told ET Online that the couple were followed by an entourage of security guards.

“The security guards were no joke. [The security detail] had their own table next to us and another one was hiding behind a plant right behind them. There were probably three guards, maybe four.”

Hiddleston and Swift immediately walked into the restaurant’s private entrance up to the VIP section on the second floor. After spending two hours inside the restaurant, Swift and her new beau emerged, still smiling and holding hands. According to the report, Hiddleston forgot to hold the car door open for her. Then, he remembered and returned by Swift’s side just to close it behind it when she got in. The two shared a laugh as they buckled up and drove off.

This was the couple’s first sighting since the split rumors swirled earlier on in the week. Sources previously claimed Tom was told by his team to dump Taylor since their whirlwind romance is bad for his image. This came after the news that Taylor was not spotted at Comic-Con with the Thor star because his team didn’t want to cause a media circus at the event.

Both Swift and Hiddleston traveled back from Australia to Los Angeles for the San Diego Comic-Con last weekend. He was joined by his fellow cast mates Brie Larson, John Goodman, and Samuel L. Jackson at the presentation of their new movie, Kong: Skull Island. They also released the trailer for the movie that’s scheduled to come out in March of 2017.

The decision was not on Hiddleston’s part, but was due to the involvement of Warner Bros. His studio’s bosses thought it was best for Swift to stay away from the major event. He wanted to bring the actress along since she’s never been, but he obeyed their orders.

“Tom did not want to bring his new love but bosses ‘banned’ the singer as they ‘feared’ a Hiddleswift ‘circus,'” the Mirror cited quotes from a report from The Sun.

Then, another report via Life & Style claimed that Tom was told by his friends to dump the singer-songwriter because their new relationship is totally “embarrassing.”

“Tom’s pals are horrified by his embarrassingly public relationship with Taylor, and want him to dump her. Tom was always known as a cool guy, but ever since he’s started dating Taylor, that’s changed. He’s gotten so cheesy. He is blinded by love and refuses to listen to anyone else. Tom thinks his friends are just jealous. He believes that he and Taylor are head over heels in love.”

Gossip Cop has since debunked the report. No friend close to the actor has talked to any tabloids about his new relationship. Additionally, sources told E! Online that the couple have developed real feelings for each other in the short time they’ve dated.

“Taylor and Tom are in love with each other. He told her she is the kind of woman he wants to spend his life with. They have gotten very close. She is enjoying the time off from working. She has been writing during her travels, and Tom has been an inspiration in her music.”

Swift’s relationship with the Night Manager star has also inspired her to get married and have children in the near future.
