Harley Quinn And Enchantress Get Their Own ‘Suicide Squad’ Promos [Watch]

Fans of the highly-anticipated Suicide Squad only have to wait for a little over a week before the premiere.

Ever since the film’s first trailer was released, the DC Comics team hasn’t stopped teasing fans with sneak peaks at all of the characters involved in the worst superhero lineup to date.

And the newest video trailers for the film are no exception as fans get another look at Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and a new look at Cara Delevingne’s Enchantress.

According to Collider, the gum-smacking, baseball bat swinging comic book fan favorite, Harley Quinn, once again steals the spotlight in the latest tease courtesy of iTunes Trailers.

“I’m bored. Play with me,” Harley tells a guard in the new one-minute teaser. Sporting her red and blue pigtails and “Daddy’s Lil Monster” t-shirt, Quinn is recruited for Amanda Waller’s (Viola Davis) suicide mission.

Though it’s still unclear what role this loose cannon will play in the film, the opening sequence shows her riding in an elevator and bashing an enemy while on the suicide mission. But then she receives a text message from The Joker (Jared Leto) that reads, “I’m close be ready…”

This makes some believe that while Quinn is recruited as a member of the Suicide Squad, she is also working with The Joker, reports MTV.

The pair does share a long comic book history, after all, making the suggestion a possible reality. If Quinn is working with Task Force X, then why is she texting The Joker?

Fans don’t want to believe that their beloved Harley Quinn would double cross her new team, but she was recruited to be on it, making her one of the bad guys.

But receiving text messages from her ex-lover also doesn’t exactly mean she is helping out The Joker. She could be using him the same way fans think she is using Task Force X.

If she is double crossing The Joker, then that would line up with what Amanda Waller has already told them — they need to complete the mission, or they are all going to die.

Meanwhile, fans finally got a good long look at the Enchantress. Batman-News reports that while being a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Delevingne brought along the first full video-clip of Suicide Squad.

In the new teaser, fans get to finally watch Delevingne’s character, June Moone, perform her transformation into the Enchantress while in a room with government agents, including Amanda Waller.

The new clip makes it appear that the Enchantress could be one of the first members Waller recruits for Task Force X. During her transformation, a black hand appears and grabs Dr. June Moone’s through a table, then she metamorphoses into her super-villain character.

“Meet the Enchantress. Everything we know about her is in your briefing packs. She’s walked this Earth for a very long time and will likely be here when we’re long gone,” Amanda Waller tells the on-looking government officials, states DigitalSpy, adding, “Magic or not, this girl can do some pretty incredible things. Go get it, girl.”

Dr. June Moone isn’t born as the Enchantress. Instead, as stated by the director of the film, David Ayer, she is a character who is possessed by the spirit of a witch.

Suicide Squad is scheduled to hit theaters on August 5.

So fans, tell us what you think of the new promo clips. Is Harley Quinn still in love with The Joker? Or is she using him to complete the suicide mission? What role will Dr. Moone’s transformation into the Enchantress play in the film? Let us know in the comments below!
