‘Little People, Big World’ Announces Another Season For The Roloff Family [Spoilers]

This has been quite the eventful year for the Roloff family. On this season of Little People, Big World, fans have witnessed the slow and painful dissolution of Matt and Amy’s marriage of 28 years. The season finale episode of the show, titled “The Next Chapter,” was bittersweet as they both reflected on their married life together. The Wrap shared that the series has been renewed for a twelfth season, and will undoubtedly continue to follow Matt and Amy as they struggle to redefine who they are and what they want as they face the next chapter of their lives.

Besides the divorce, Matt has been facing some serious health issues, and viewers will find out during next week’s special episode of Little People, Big World how he did after surgery on his neck. The Inquisitr reported previously that the patriarch of the family had been posting Facebook photos and comments concerning his surgery and subsequent recovery since June 13, which has been a slow and difficult process for the 55-year-old.

For those who aren’t familiar with Little People, Big World, Matt and Amy have four children, 26-year-old twin sons Jeremy and Zach, one daughter, 22-year-old Molly, and their youngest son, 19-year-old Jacob. Over the years, fans have watched the Roloff siblings grow from young children to young adults. Jeremy and Zach are now married, and during the latest episode of Little People, Big World, all the family members except Jacob were shown attending Molly’s college graduation ceremony. Amy was hoping Molly would come back home for awhile, but Molly announced that she found a job in Spokane, Washington, and will be staying there at least for the foreseeable future.

As for the youngest Roloff sibling, Jacob no longer appears on Little People, Big World with his family, and currently lives in California. Since leaving the family home in Oregon, according to Radar Online, he has expressed via social media his displeasure concerning various issues regarding the show, including not receiving money or royalty checks owed him. Kudos to all the Roloff family members who have not aired their opinions concerning Jacob’s statements publicly, and whenever his name is brought up, they always have something positive to say.

During next week’s two-hour special of Little People, Big World, viewers will get to see exactly what occurred after Matt’s surgery. They will also be treated to a retrospective look back at the previous 10 years of the show (based on calendar years, not seasons), and what the future may hold. The family will share their favorite moments, humorous mishaps, and open up to viewers like never before.

Next season on Little People, Big World, Amy will undoubtedly continue to explore what it means to be single as Matt continues to heal post-surgery. In the middle of the changing family dynamics, their grown children will continue to navigate and find their own ways through adulthood.

Jeremy, Zach, and their wives may find themselves having to step up during the new season of Little People, Big World in order to help with the running of Roloff Farms until Matt gets back on his feet. Since Jeremy and wife Audrey have expressed the desire to someday move to the farm, this may prove to be an excellent learning experience for them as they get a real taste of what running the farm is all about.
