Amber Heard has accused her estranged husband, Johnny Depp of holding their divorce proceedings back, Us Weekly reports. In new court documents filed recently, Amber’s attorneys state that requiring Heard to sign non-disclosure agreements before Johnny Depp shares his financial information with them is stopping the divorce from moving forward.

“[Depp] and his counsel’s demand for the execution of these two non-disclosure agreements which impose undue financial hardships and burdens on [Heard] are nothing but blatant threats by [Depp] and are illustrative of his continued attempts to thwart real progress in this case,” the documents read.

“[Depp] has been stonewalling the progress of this case, by refusing to provide the most basic financial documents, and he is now filing his second ex parte on the same discovery issue coupled with a second request to continue court-ordered deadlines related to the DVRO hearing.”

Us Weekly reports that Depp’s lawyers have stated that they don’t have any issue with giving Heard’s teams the documents, but they want to ensure that their client’s information remains private.

“Johnny does not dispute that Amber is entitled to the majority of the information sought in her discovery requests and subpoena,” Amber’s legal team says based on the documents. “He is willing to produce the documents necessary … He has asked, however, that a confidentially agreement be executed prior to the production of documents in order to protect the parties’ privacy.”

According to Us Weekly, Heard’s objection to the non-disclosure agreements comes after Depp’s lawyers moved to have the court declare all documents in the case confidential.

Johnny’s attorneys asked that “all documents produced by [Depp] in this action and/or any third parties subpoenaed in this action … shall be designated as ‘Confidential Information’ herein.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, Amber’s issue with signing the non disclosure agreements is that it calls for a $100,000 fine if and every time any of Johnny Depp’s financial information is leaked. Amber’s team contends that this is an extreme demand that is an obstacle to their divorce proceedings.

“[Depp] and his counsel’s demand for the execution of these two non-disclosure agreements which impose undue financial hardships and burdens on [Heard] are nothing but blatant threats by [Depp] and are illustrative of his continued attempts to thwart real progress in this case,” the court documents state.

Amber’s team goes so far as to say that Johnny Depp is trying to “stonewall” their divorce.

“In reality, it has been, and continues to be [Depp] who refuses to be forthright with his financial information and has stymied resolution of this case,” the documents add. “[Depp] has been stonewalling the progress of this case, by refusing to provide the most basic financial documents.

Amber Heard first filed for divorce from Johnny Depp in May and later petitioned the court for a temporary restraining order against Depp.

Heard claims that the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor emotionally and physically abused her while they were together. The two met and fell in love while working together on The Rum Diary.

While both Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have remained quiet about their divorce recently, there are rumors that Amber has already moved on to a new man.

People Magazine (via Yahoo Celebrity) reports that there’s been some talk that Amber Heard and Elon Musk, the billionaire tech businessman and founder of Space X, were dating. The rumors started after Amber was seen spending time with Musk in Miami.

However, an alleged insider source told People that Amber and Elon Musk are “just” friends.

“Amber and Elon are friends and have been for a few years,” the source says. “Their work schedules overlapped in Florida over the weekend – Elon was there for the SpaceX launch and Amber was there with her sister for a shoot.”

Whether they’re really friends or not, Elon Musk and Amber Heard have one thing in common. They are both going through a divorce. As People notes, Musk is currently in the process of divorcing his second wife, actress Tallulah Riley.
