‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Two Episode Specials To Air Before Season 7 Premiere

The Walking Dead fans are patiently waiting for the Season 7 premiere in October, but they won’t have to wait that long to get a brand new sneak peek at the new season.

According to Undead Walking, AMC will air two Walking Dead specials before the Season 7 premiere on October 23, and they will help hold over viewers until the hit zombie series returns with new episodes this fall.

The first special will air on August 14. It will preview Season 7 and give fans a sneak peek look at what the upcoming episodes will bring. Of course, all Walking Dead fans want to know who Negan’s victim is, but that information won’t likely be given until the season premiere.

However, many fans believe they have a pretty good idea about which member of Rick’s group will die come Season 7. It seems the consensus is that Glenn Rhee will be the unlucky victim who will meet Negan’s bat, Lucille, in the first episode of the season.

Although, other rumors have characters such as Michonne and Abraham also being killed off. Theorist believes that fans might actually see two character deaths when the first episode airs in October. Since The Walking Dead loves to surprise fans and uses the motto no one is safe when talking about killing off major characters, it could be likely that viewers will see more than one victim die at the hands of Negan.

The Season 7 preview show will be hosted by Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick and will include exclusive interviews with the cast and crew as well as behind the scenes moments from the show. There will also be guests, much like on the after show, but they have yet to be announced.

The second Walking Dead special will be aired just one week before the Season 7 premiere and one week after the Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 finale. The special will focus on the events of Season 6, as well as the events leading up to the Season 7 premiere.

Not a lot of information has been given about the recap special as of yet. However, fans may not only see the events of Season 6, but the events of the entire series up to Negan’s big killer moment. After six seasons, it would be nice to reminisce about the early days of the show. However, that could make fans mourn the death of Negan’s victim even more, especially if that victim is Glenn, who is an original cast member and has been around since the second episode of the series.

Over the weekend, the Walking Dead Season 7 trailer was officially released at San Diego Comic-Con. The trailer started off with Negan and the moment just before he kills his mystery victim. In the trailer, each person in Negan’s lineup is seen, along with flashbacks of some of the greatest moments of their lives since the zombie apocalypse began. Glenn and Maggie’s flashbacks are especially moving.

The cast and crew of the show have been dropping hints about the brutal Season 7 premiere for months now, and it seems safe to say that everything will change once the series returns to AMC. There will be a different feel, and one beloved character will be noticeably absent from the group.

The new trailer also revealed the debut of some new characters. The most anticipated is Ezekiel, the leader of a new survivor group who lives in a place called The Kingdom. Ezekiel is particularly interesting due to the fact that he has a pet tiger named Shiva.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming Walking Dead specials and the latest Season 7 spoilers?
