Keshia Knight Pulliam’s Husband Ed Hartwell Files For Divorce Behind Her Back, Demands Paternity Test — Was She The Cheater?

That was fast! Keshia Knight Pulliam and Ed Hartwell have only been married for seven months. Without her knowledge, Hartwell filed for divorce from the former Cosby Show star just one week after she announced that she was pregnant. Now, Ed wants Keshia to get a DNA test for the baby when she gives birth to prove that he’s even the father.

According to TMZ, Keshia revealed that she is pregnant with their first child on July 18. It was just one week later that her NFL star husband filed divorce documents with the Fulton County Superior Court. Pulliam is believed to currently be about four months pregnant with a baby girl.

Keshia Knight Pulliam and Ed Hartwell had a whirlwind romance, and despite going all the way with a wedding and even a baby announcement, it looks like they should have just taken their time. Pulliam announced that the couple got engaged on New Year’s Eve, just four months after they started dating.

Fans were even more surprised when, less than one month after announcing their engagement, Keshia and Ed Hartwell were married. Check out what Keshia said about their shocking wedding on her own podcast.

“It was my dream,” Keshia said on her podcast, Kandidly Keshia. “We did it literally in our living room in our home. We come from large family. I’m one of four, Ed is one of six. We invited people. They had no clue they were coming to a wedding. They thought they were coming to a New Year’s party”

The way Pulliam described her whirlwind romance with the ex-husband of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Lisa Wu, it sounded like a fairytale. Maybe it was, but it certainly wasn’t a novel.

“I was a little more reserved, a little more quiet but still myself. I allowed him to show me who he was through his actions. There were so many times he would say things verbatim what I prayed for. He would speak and his priorities and the things he valued were completely in alignment with who I am…and that’s when I knew it was real.”

It turns out that Ed Hartwell quickly realized that Pulliam was not the one. The YBF was first to report the divorce news. They said that Ed is pushing for a paternity test on Keshia’s unborn child and alluded that it just might not be his. The report also indicated that his reason for pulling the plug on their quickie marriage had to do with Pulliam’s spoiled attitude, something he knew about before tying the knot.

On the other hand, Keshia believes that he is the one who cheated. Another report from the same source claims that she is devastated by the divorce news, and despite knowing they already had problems, she was completely surprised that Hartwell filed for divorce on Monday.

There are rumors that Hartwell may have been cheating on Keshia Knight Pulliam. It turns out that the former football star had been engaged to another woman, Tonya Carroll, prior to dating his estranged wife. A source told the YBF that they believed Ed was still seeing Tonya even while he was married to Keshia.

Even though their courtship was short and their marriage was cut off after just seven short months, there’s a pretty good possibility that Keshia Knight Pulliam and Ed Hartwell’s divorce could drag on. This is especially true now that Keshia has a baby on the way and Ed is telling everyone that he wants a paternity test just to prove that he is the father. So far, Keshia has been silent about the split, and many fans are hoping she will tell her side of the story soon.
