Shannon Beador Says Nina And Jaci Have ‘Past’ With Kelly Dodd, Believes Kelly’s Marriage Has ‘Issues’

Did Shannon Beador set Kelly Dodd up? Some people believe so after watching the latest The Real Housewives of Orange County episode that aired on Monday night. The episode showed Shannon’s friend Jaci gossiping, seemingly negatively, about Kelly to Shannon and Tamra Judge during Shannon’s 70’s-themed party. When Kelly and Vicki Gunvalson walked in on Jaci telling the story, Shannon’s other friend, Nina, lashed out at Kelly. Nina even suggested that Kelly performs sexual acts for money.

After the episode aired, Shannon’s Twitter and Instagram pages were filled with comments that accused her of bringing Nina and Jaci to the party in an attempt to bring down Kelly. Yet, according to Shannon, that’s not true. During Shannon’s appearance on Andy Cohen’s talk show, Watch What Happens Live, on Monday night, Andy showed a preview clip of next week’s episode, in which Shannon and Kelly have a face-to-face sit-down after their explosive fight at the 70s party. During the scene, Kelly accuses Shannon of setting up Nina and Jaci to attack her. Shannon told Andy that Kelly is flattering herself to think that Shannon would take the time to set her up.

“First of all, clearly she’s flattering herself because I don’t have that kind of time. I’m not that kind of a person, to have a party to specifically set someone up… I didn’t know she [Jaci] knew Kelly.”

When a viewer called in and asked Shannon about letting her friends gossip about Kelly’s marriage at the party, Shannon explained that her friends weren’t gossiping about Kelly’s marriage but were trying to tell the story of their “run-in” with Kelly in the past.

“I’m a little confused… I don’t know about anyone who spoke about Kelly’s marriage tonight… I didn’t know about anyone talking badly about Kelly’s marriage at all at the party. I wasn’t a party to that at all. Sorry.”

Andy, a bit confused, asked Shannon whether her two friends weren’t talking about Kelly’s marriage.

“They weren’t talking her marriage. They had an issue. They had a run-in with her in the past and we didn’t even get all the details. Apparently they had a past with her and they were trying to tell us the story.”

Andy then clarified that it was Shannon who accused Kelly of cheating. At Andy’s reminder, Shannon all of a sudden remembered that she screamed that Kelly cheated on her husband. Shannon claimed to have forgotten that she screamed that Kelly cheated on her husband with a neighbor of hers.

“Oh I’m sorry. You’re right. I did. I did say that. I saw red. To be honest with you, she said the cruelest thing that anyone could say to me. It was completely unwarranted to see the smile on her face afterwards. It was chilling to me so I saw red and just, I don’t even remember what I said until I saw the episode [smiles.]”

Apparently, Shannon completely forgot about the confessional interview that she did later on which she gave details on Kelly’s supposed cheating?

The latest The Real Housewives of Orange County episode showed Shannon Beador throwing a 70s-themed party. At one point during the party, Shannon told Tamra Judge that, unbeknownst to her, her friends Nina and Jaci actually know Kelly Dodd and had an interesting story to tell about her. Shannon asked that they tell the story. Jaci then proceeded to talk about how Kelly once made out with a man who wasn’t her husband.

“So I just met her around town. She was with her boyfriend, not that guy [pointing to Kelly’s husband Michael] but um [laughs], she gives me this sob story about her boyfriend, they broke up, so like I felt bad for her. So I said, ‘Do you want to go to this party tonight?’ And she’s like ‘Yes.'”

Jaci stopped and whispered that Kelly, who had just walked into the room with Vicki to help her look for her purse, was right there. It was clear from Kelly’s face that she heard Jaci talking about her.

Shannon’s other friend, Nina, then suggested that they tell Kelly to her face exactly what they think of her.

“Why don’t we bring her here and say what we think?”

When Kelly said that they were just trying to find Vicki’s purse, Nina pretty much told her to go away.

“Oh yeah, you find your purse in the bathroom.”

When Kelly began arguing with Nina for being rude to her, Jaci whispered, “This isn’t going like I thought.”

As Kelly and Vicki walked away, Kelly kept asking who Nina was and saying that she doesn’t even know her. Once Kelly and Vicki was out of earshot, Nina went on an expletive-filled rant about Kelly. Tamra sat there stunned.

“Honey you have issues. B**ch just go back in there. You’re so ghetto. Little f**king [expletive] b**ch [expletive]… I don’t have to suck anyone’s d**k to pay my bills.”

At the party, Tamra later confirmed to Kelly that Nina and Jaci were talking ill of her. This led to Kelly and Shannon getting into a nasty argument, during which Kelly called Shannon “ugly” and screamed that it’s no wonder that her husband, David Beador, cheated on her. Shannon’s devastation at being cheated on by David was a major storyline last season. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Shannon, in October, 2015, even accused the other woman of stalking her.

Shannon retaliated by screaming that it’s Kelly who’s a cheater.

“Weren’t you cheating on your husband? I’ll never forget the story, hearing about a girl making out with her affair in front of their neighbor. It was you!”

Kelly, who previously shared that she got engaged to someone else during her separation from her husband Michael before deciding to get back together with him, denied that she cheated on her husband.

In a confessional interview, Shannon explained the story.

“Right before we moved into the home we built, there was a rumor circulating that a woman was having an affair with my neighbor. Turns out that that woman was Kelly Dodd.”

On Twitter, Kelly didn’t address Shannon’s affair claim but did call Nina and Jaci “mean girls.”

On Watch What Happens Live, Shannon Beador also gave her opinion on Kelly Dodd’s marriage. Shannon said that it seems that Kelly and her husband are “having issues.” Shannon did say that she doesn’t know for sure that they are.

“You know I’m very hesitant to comment on other people’s relationships because nobody knows what goes on behind doors… clearly it looks as though they’re having issues but I don’t know for sure.”
