Margot Robbie To Star In Action Thriller Adaptation Of ‘Bad Monkeys,’ Interviewed By ‘Suicide Squad’ Co-Star Cara Delevingne

Margot Robbie will once again play a sexy villain, according to AV Club. It appears that The Wolf of Wall Street actress wants some respite from playing someone’s girlfriend in films. But moviegoers don’t mind – they sure want to see the sexy, sassy Margot more often.

Margot Robbie, who turned 26-years-old earlier this month, has been cast in upcoming action thriller Bad Monkeys. The Suicide Squad actress will star in and produce the upcoming Universal film, which is based on the novel of the same name written by Matt Ruff.

The news comes just two weeks before Suicide Squad, in which Margot Robbie plays an evil character Harley Quinn, hits theaters. The 26-year-old actress will also reprise her role of Quinn in an upcoming untitled DC project.

Bad Monkeys focuses on Jane Charlotte, which will be played by Margot Robbie, who is a whole new level of crazy. Jane is also a cunning girl: when she gets arrested for murder, she claims she works for a secret organization that fights evil.

Margot Robbie’s character purports to be part of the Department for the Final Disposition of Irredeemable Persons, but for those lazy to memorize the full name of the organization, it’s “bad monkeys.”

But authorities don’t fall for it, and carry on with the arrest of Margot Robbie’s character, locking her away in the jail’s psych ward. And that’s where the fun starts, as law enforcement send people to the psych ward, trying to figure out whether Jane is crazy or telling the truth.

But here’s another theory: could Jane be under the impression that she is Harley Quinn, the Suicide Squad character played by Margot Robbie? And the 26-year-old actress is sure fit for the role of both Quinn and Jane.

In other news, Margot Robbie and model Cara Delevingne, both of whom star in Suicide Squad, have graced the cover of LOVE magazine’s latest issue, according to the International Business Times. The 26-year-old actress and Delevingne have now become the British magazine’s newest girls to appear on the cover.

Along with the photo shoot, which was carried out by photographer Willy Vanderperre and LOVE‘s Editor in Chief Katie Grand, there is an interview between Margot Robbie and Delevingne.

Delevingne, who plays Enchantress in Suicide Squad, was the one who interviewed her co-star, Margot Robbie, who plays the crazy lover of the Joker in the film. The duo opted for a ’80s style look and it appears that their style was inspired by the ’80s girl band The Belle Stars.

In fact, it was the band’s saxophonist Miranda Joyce who did the makeup for both Margot Robbie and Delevingne for the photo shoot. Apart from doing makeup and playing music, The Belle Stars also focused on hair accessories as well as rock and pop music.

LOVE‘s Editor in Chief Katie Grand also said on the magazine’s website that the issue featuring Margot Robbie and Delevingne on the cover is “an ode” to her young teenage years.

“Cara and Margot ARE me and Jo Parker, and it’s no coincidence that Miranda Joyce – previously the foxy sax player in The Belle Stars – did the make-up.”

According to the website, Margot Robbie opted for a printed wool jumper made by fashion brand Balenciaga for the photoshoot, while her Suicide Squad co-star Delevingne graces the cover with vintage beret from Modes & More.

Margot Robbie completed her look with a black rabbit hat by Saint Laurent and a polka dot headscarf, while Delevingne opted for a pearl necklace made by Miu Miu and round sunglasses by Marc Jacobs.

Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 1, 2016.
