Kanye West Wants To Team Up With Calvin Harris On Taylor Swift Diss Track [Report]

It sounds like Kanye West’s nasty feud with Taylor Swift isn’t over just yet.

According to reports, Kanye allegedly now has his sights set on Taylor’s ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris and has big plans to team up with the Scottish DJ on a new track all about their respective feuds with Swift.

“Kanye’s already extended Calvin an invite to his home and his studio and wants to have some bro time with him,” a source told Hollywood Life this week of West’s big plans to hit the studio with Calvin.

The insider alleged that West wants to “trade Taylor war stories” with Calvin, who dated Swift for 15 months until the two called it quits earlier this year. The source added that Kanye is also mulling over “the possibility of dropping one big epic collaboration on the world” with Harris.

The site’s insider also claimed that West was “impressed” by the way Harris sensationally called out Taylor on social media recently, just days before Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, also slammed the singer and revealed that West admires how Calvin stood up for himself against his ex.

“Kanye’s impressed by Calvin and thinks he’s a warrior for not letting Princess Taylor destroy him like she does all of her exes and friends,” Hollywood Life’s insider alleged of West.

Calvin has since deleted the tweets that were said to “impress” Kanye, though People reported that Harris took serious aim at his former girlfriend on social media after a representative for the star confirmed that she wrote Harris’s hit “This Is What You Came For” under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg.

“I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym,” Harris tweeted in reference to Swift’s revelation on July 14.

“[It’s] hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though,” Harris continued before the Kanye West collaboration rumors swirled. “I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex [boyfriend] down for something to do.”

Calvin Harris then went as far as to reference Taylor’s past drama with Katy Perry in his scathing social media message.

“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it,” he wrote.

Calvin’s scathing Taylor takedown came just days before Kim Kardashian also slammed Taylor on social media, defending West, her husband of more than two years, after Swift previously claimed that she was unaware of the controversial lyrics in West’s single “Famous.”

Kim took to Snapchat to leak footage of West’s phone call with the singer on July 17, where Swift can be heard giving her approval and thanking Kanye for giving her a “heads up.”

“I really appreciate you telling me about it, that’s really nice,” Taylor can be heard telling Kanye, according to a transcript of her and Kanye’s conversation provided by E! News. “I really appreciate it, like the heads up is so nice.”

“Even asking or seeing if I would be okay with it and I just really appreciate it,” Swift continued after Kanye told her about the line “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex,” which is featured in the song. “Like, I would never expect you to like tell me about a line in one of your songs.”

The latest report suggesting that Calvin and Kanye may be ready for a team-up follows a recent report by Metro that claimed West had actually been looking to work with Harris for a while.

“[Calvin’s] currently working on some new music and has been milling over some tunes about heartbreak, deceit and lost love,” a source confirmed at the time, revealing that Kanye may have a place in his new music.

“Kanye is up for doing something with Calvin and Rihanna,” who most recently collaborated on the dance track “This Is What You Came For,” the source alleged, adding that “now Calvin’s no longer with Taylor anything is possible.”
