‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stassi Schroeder Tweets To Patrick Meagher, Denies Speaking Badly About His Family After Their Split

Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder took to Twitter in the wee hours of the morning on Tuesday, where she fought back against claims allegedly made by her ex-boyfriend, Patrick Meagher.

After re-tweeting a photo of herself and co-star Rachael O’Brien attending the bridal shower of Katie Maloney, the reality star and host denied speaking ill of Meagher’s family and explained what she was referring to when she spoke of divorce during a recent airing of her Podcast series, Straight Up With Stassi.

In a July 26 post to Meagher, Stassi Schroeder wrote, “Never said that your family had a bunch of divorce. On my podcast, I said ‘our family,’ meaning me & my sister Georgi.”

A short time later, Stassi Schroeder deleted the post.

Earlier this month, following her split from Patrick Meagher, Stassi Schroeder welcomed her younger sister, Georgi, to her Podcast to discuss her breakup. After first confirming and deleting news of her split on Twitter, Stassi Schroeder revealed her relationship with Meagher had come to an end after years of ups and downs.

“We’ve broken up and gotten back together so many times, it was like, ‘Goda****, we can’t do this pattern anymore, this routine of breaking up and getting back together every month,'” Stassi Schroeder revealed during the show, according to a Radar Online report last week.

“I feel like I tweeted it because I deserve and he deserves so much better than this relationship where no one ever knows if we’re together or apart. We deserve something stable or steady,” she continued.

Stassi Schroeder and Patrick Meagher have been on and off since their relationship began after the second season of Vanderpump Rules. However, throughout her time on the show, Schroeder has not been joined at all by her now-ex-boyfriend. Instead, she simply mentioned their relationship on occasion. For instance, during Season 4, as Stassi Schroeder moved out of the home she shared with Meagher and into Kristen Doute’s apartment, she admitted that she and Meagher continue to break up and make up, which understandably took a toll on the reality star.

“This is a whole different type of breakup,” Stassi Schroeder explained on her and Meagher’s latest split. “It’s like a whole different type of thing. I didn’t lose any feelings for him. None of that changed. It’s just, like, I can’t handle this. Like, you don’t fit into my life. You don’t try to fit into my life enough, and we keep fighting, and I can’t handle breaking up all the time.”

As for the possibility of a future reunion, which is known to happen between these two, Stassi Schroeder told her Podcast listeners that this split is much different than their previous breakups.

“Normally, when we’ve broken up, I don’t get that upset because I feel like it’s going to be OK, you know what I mean? I don’t feel that way,” Stassi Schroeder noted. “I’m trying to be an independent, strong, 28-year-old woman who doesn’t want to settle for this weird pattern. And it’s not about settling for him. He’s a wonderful man. Nobody would be settling by being with him. It’s settling for the way that we are together. I can’t settle for that.”

For more of Stassi Schroeder and her co-stars, be sure to tune into new episodes of Vanderpump Rules when the fifth season of the show premieres on Bravo TV later this year. A premiere date has not yet been set.
