Lindsay Lohan Flees From London Following Altercation With Fiance Egor Tarabasov, Releases Statement Asking For Privacy
Just a month ago, elusive actress Lindsay Lohan was looking forward to celebrating her 30th birthday with her fiancé, Russian businessman Egor Tarabasov, according to a Vanity Fair interview that was noted by the Inquisitr. Unfortunately, a lot can change within that span of time, and it’s now being reported that the Confessions of A Teenage Drama Queen star is currently onboard a mid-Atlantic flight to put as much space between the two of them as humanly possible.
TMZ states that following an altercation between the couple at their home in London on Saturday, Lohan departed the residence early Monday and made her way to Heathrow Airport for points unknown. She was last photographed exiting a car next to the English transportation mecca, but she was shielded by a shirt that was held overhead by her security team.
After several entertainment sources had picked up on her movements, Lindsay took to her Instagram to make a public statement.
“I would appreciate if these speculations regarding my personal life would respectfully come to a halt,” she expressed. “Unfortunately, a private matter has become more public than I can control and I would be extremely grateful if my fiancé and myself could discuss our personal matters on our own. There are more important things going on in the world than our relationship. Please leave us be to solve our personal matters.”
Those personal matters; some of which, were mentioned by the Inquisitr on Sunday, involve a supposed pregnancy, as well as a cringe-inducing video recording of a tearful Lohan begging Tarabasov to leave her alone after an alleged assault. In several videos posted by The Sun, the actress, who recently insinuated through a set of now-deleted Twitter posted that Egor was cheating on her with fashion designer Dasha Pashevkina, can be heard screaming at passerby to call the police for assistance.
“He just strangled me,” she claims. “He almost killed me! Everybody will know! Get out of my house!”
Tarabasov’s attempts to alleviate the agitated Lohan fail greatly as she eventually reveals that it wasn’t the first time the couple had an incident involving alleged domestic violence.
“No, Egor, you’ve been strangling me constantly,” Lindsay is heard saying. “You can’t strangle a woman constantly and beat the sh*t out of her, and think it’s okay. Everybody saw you touch me! It’s filmed. Get out! Get out.”
When police ultimately arrived at the residence, both Lohan and Tarabosov were nowhere to be found. Lindsay would turn up about 24 hours later with a friend, exiting the home she shared with Egor, to partake in a night out in Knightsbridge. No arrests were made following the supposed assault.
This latest shaky instance in Lohan’s life follows years of calmness from the once-manic star, who, at one time, was one of the most bankable young entertainers in the world. After moving to London in 2014 to make her stage debut in David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow, her life has seemed to become less noted for the many messes she once created, and more for the successful turnaround in both her personal and career-driven affairs. In the Vanity Fair interview, she attributed to the change partially to Tarabasov, whom she began dating earlier this year.
“[I now find joy in] travel, experience, sharing my love with someone special, meditation, being happy with good people around me, [and] spending time with my family,” she expressed. “I feel great! I have learned a lot over time, [I’m] in a wonderful place in life, and [I] look forward to the near and far future and projects that I am working on.”
Tarabasov has yet to comment on any of the matters that have taken place, but Page Six has reported that he and Lohan might have been on shaky ground for some time. According to the gossip column, an argument between the two during a recent Greece vacation ended with Lindsay tossing his phone into the sea and pouring a glass of wine over his head.
