‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 10 Spoilers Revealed At Comic-Con

The Big Bang Theory Season 10 is quickly approaching, and after the big Comic-Con event last week, fans are more excited than ever to see what the gang’s been up to.

According to the International Business Times, The Big Bang Theory Season 10 will debut some brand new faces. The role of Penny’s mother has officially been cast. Actress Katey Sagal, best known for her roles on TV hits such as Married With Children and Sons of Anarchy, will being playing Penny’s mom.

Of course, fans know this isn’t the first time that Katey Sagal and Kaley Cuoco have worked together. The pair also played mother and daughter on the sitcom 8 Simple Rules, which co-starred John Ritter before his tragic and untimely death.

Big Bang Theory fans will also see another one of Penny’s family members. Penny’s brother will be played by actor Jack McBrayer, who is known for his roles on shows such as 30 Rock and The Middle, as well as voice work in the animated films Despicable Me and Wreck-It Ralph.

Viewers will get to see Katey Sagal and Jack McBrayer in action when The Big Bang Theory Season 10 returns this fall. The two will be in town for Penny and Leonard’s second wedding, as this time they’ve invited their friends and family to watch them say their I do’s.

Penny’s personal career struggle will also continue. As Big Bang Theory fans know, Penny moved to California to be an actress, which hasn’t worked out. In Season 8, she started a new career as a sales representative, and although she’s making very good money, she still isn’t happy.

“We’re still figuring things out; I think she’s in an interesting and relatable place. She’s going to start to weigh her options,” executive producer Steve Molaro revealed at Comic-Con.

Meanwhile, there will be big things in store for fan favorite couple Sheldon and Amy, as well. Last season, fans watched as the pair went through some serious ups and downs, which ended in Amy finding out that Sheldon was planning to propose to her before their break up.

In Season 10, there may or may not be a proposal, but Sheldon is going to have one of his dreams come true. The couple, known as “Shamy,” will attending a real-life flag convention. Perhaps they’ll even record it for their web series, Fun With Flags.

It seems fair to say that Howard and Bernadette will spend the season getting ready for their new little bundle of joy, and that each will be equally happy and freaked out along the way. However, there has been no confirmation about whether or not fans will see the baby born by the end of Season 10.

Raj will likely also continue the struggle that is is love life. Could this be the season that he finally finds the one?

Of course, the most pressing issue on Big Bang Theory fans’ minds is the Season 9 cliffhanger. In the final episode of the season, Sheldon’s mother and Leonard’s father really hit it off, and seemed to be headed for a steamy hook up, leaving the two best friends horrified. Could the show be working towards having Sheldon and Leonard become brothers? It certainly would make for a hilarious storyline.

While The Big Bang Theory continues to march toward Season 10, fans can’t help but wonder if this is the end of the line for the CBS comedy. When asked about the show’s endgame at Comic-Con, Molaro had little to say.

“I’m not gonna tell you. There’s been a few thoughts that have floated around, but we don’t really know how long the show’s going to go on for, so I think it’s a little early for us to be thinking about an end point.”
