Ciara Loses Sponsorship Deal Over Future Twitter Drama: Hatred For Baby Father Explained

Ciara has opened up to friends about her ongoing custody battle with Future, telling them why she will never see herself being on good terms with the rapper.

According to TMZ, the singer was stunned when her ex-fiance went on his official Twitter account earlier this year to slam the mother of one for allegedly stopping him from seeing his 2-year-old son and questioning why she’s forcing him to pay $15,000 a month when he can’t be with his child.

The claims were completely bogus, according to Ciara’s rep, who would go on to state that Future was never prevented from seeing his child, nor has the 30-year-old ever seen a paycheck in the amount of $15,000 from the “Blood on the Money” hitmaker.

“This b**** got control problems… I gotta go through lawyers to see baby future… the f***ery for 15k a month,” Future tweeted at the time, making it seem as if Ciara was not only stopping him from visitation rights but was happy enough to claim a hefty amount of child support.

What fans didn’t know was that Ciara was locking down an endorsement deal with a cosmetic line that was willing to pay her up to $500,000 to sponsor their line of products. But once Future began to make the allegations against the mother of his child, TMZ claims that the company decided to back out from the proposed plans, leaving Ciara even more agitated.

“Ciara says all that trash talk has undermined her ‘positive reputation’ and sullied her as ‘controlling, dishonest, malicious, unreasonable, evil, conniving’ and bad parent which made the cosmetic co. run for the hills,” the outlet goes on to report.

As the source already mentions, Ciara feels as if Future is trying to hurt her reputation, which is making it harder for her to land deals with companies because they will read the rapper’s tweets and think that what he is alleging on his timeline is the truth.

As previously reported, Ciara reportedly filed a $15 million lawsuit against the 32-year-old in the midst of losing out on her sponsorship deal, feeling as if her ex-fiance has done nothing but talk trash about her on social media — and that’s despite the fact that Ciara has never spoken negatively about him, Hollywood Take adds.

Despite having penned a song that was said to have detailed his cheating behavior during their relationship with the platinum-selling track, I Bet, Ciara has remained rather quiet in interviews as far as her breakup to Future was concerned. And that was more so out of respect, considering that they still have a child together.

Ciara claiming that she missed out on a $500,000 endorsement deal comes just weeks after the singer tied the knot with NFL superstar Russell Wilson. The gorgeous couple settled with a discreet wedding out in Liverpool in the presence of no more than a handful of close friends.

The “Goodies” belter is said to have started work on her forthcoming studio album, despite reports claiming that she may have been dropped from Epic Records following first-week sales of her latest album, Jackie, only pulling in 19,000 copies.

What do you make of Future’s recent comments against the mother of his child that has seen her lose a $500,000 endorsement deal? And do you think they can ever co-parent without bringing attorneys into the mix of things?
