Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield Score A Win Over Paparazzi

The paparazzi are constantly hounding A-list celebrities. There a number of ways to deal with the paparazzi and their intrusive nature but only some are effective. Celebrity couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield found a great way to deal with their paparazzi followers.

Today reports that Stone and Garfield used their situation to do a little charitable promotion. As they were being photographed, Stone and Garfield held up self-made signs saying:

“We just found out that there were paparazzi outside the restaurant we were eating in. So … why not take this” with an arrow pointing to Garfield, whose sign continued, “opportunity to bring attention to organizations that need and deserve it www.WWO.org www.gildasclubnyc.org Have a great day!”

This way they both got what they wanted. The paparazzi got their celebrity photographs and Gilda’s Club New York City and Worldwide Orphans Foundation get a celebrity promotion. Not only that, but this way of dealing with the paparazzi will probably make Stone and Garfield one of the most celebrity couples around.

Stone and Garfield took a less violent or rude approach to dealing with the paparazzi then some celebrities do.

For example, Alec Baldwin has been known to get rather rude to the paparazzi following him. His encounters tend to involve a lot of yelling and even in some cases, mild shoving. This is not an effective method, because the paparazzi still get their photograph and Baldwin comes out of it with nothing but anger issues.

I think Stone and Garfield are setting a great example that more celebrities should follow.
