Kristen Stewart Tired Of Hiding Her Relationship With Alicia Cargile, Kisses Girlfriend In Public

Kristen Stewart has nothing to hide. Although the Equals star refused to label her alleged relationship with Alicia Cargile, Stewart insisted that she is not as protective of her personal life as she used to be.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, Kristen Stewart shared that she has discovered a way to live her life and not feel like she is hiding at all. The 26-year-old actress pointed out that she has been more “relaxed” as of late when speaking about her personal life and relationships.

“I think that’s pretty apparent for anyone who cares — not that everyone does. But I think that if you had been tracking it in any way, it’s more apparent that I’m more relaxed than I used to be.”

This, however, does not mean that Stewart is willing and eager to tell everyone about her relationship with Cargile. The Twilight star said that she is not the type to talk about her sex life.

“I wouldn’t talk about who I [have sex with] and how I [have sex with them] unless I was friends with you. That’s weird,” she said.

Back when Kristen Stewart was dating Robert Pattinson, the actress admitted that she has been fiercely protective of their relationship. She was wary of sharing bits and pieces about her dating life, thinking that people are just going to “screw her over.” As she got older, Stewart said that she got better with assessing people’s motivations.

“It’s not something I have to overtly think about — what I share and what I don’t share. It’s a natural thing. Whereas, when I was younger, I was like, ‘You’re gonna screw me over.’ Now I’m like, ‘Whatever. You can’t,'” she said

In an interview with Variety, Kristen Stewart, in her own elusive way, revealed that she felt responsible to speak up on behalf of the LGBT community. Without using the word “gay,” Stewart said that she wanted to be a proponent for the community. She rejected labels, explaining that ambiguity and sexual fluidity is the whole basis of what she is about.

“If you don’t get it, I don’t have time for you,” she added.

Kristen has previously been snapped kissing and holding hands with French singer SoKo on the streets of Paris. While the Twilight star insisted that she is one to keep her personal life private, Kristen did not mind the PDA pics circulating online if it would help young kids struggling with their own sexuality.

“That’s really important to me. As much as I want to protect myself, it’s not about hiding. As soon as you start throwing up so many walls, you cannot see over them yourself, so you just start isolating in a way that’s not honest. I definitely found where I’m comfortable. I don’t take credit for that.”

After her split with SoKo back in March, Kristen Stewart and Alicia Cargile reportedly rekindled their relationship. According to Entertainment Tonight, Stewart and Cargile were spotted holding hands in May during the Cannes Film Festival. Early this week, the two were snapped kissing while on a coffee date in Los Feliz, California. At the recent after-party for her film, Equals, an eyewitness also told the outlet that Stewart was not at all shy showing her affection towards Cargile.

“I assume it was her girlfriend she was with, because they were holding hands, and Kristen had her arm around her and on her a** at one point,” the insider said.
