Former ‘LHHATL’ Star Althea Heart Jailed After Courtroom Fight With Benzino

Former Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Althea Heart is currently spending a few days in jail after a recent court appearance with former fiance Benzino. The LHHATL couple were in a Cobb County courtroom when Althea was reportedly booked on contempt charges. The aspiring singer reportedly ignored a judge’s order to stop communicating with Benzino during the hearing, and now she’s been busy cooling her heels in a jail cell for a few days.

The Jasmine Brand reported on Althea’s current incarceration situation after the reality TV star was reportedly sent to jail for the next 10 days for contempt. At this point, Heart has been locked up in a Cobb County jail for four days and counting. There have been no reports that Althea has been released at this point. Maybe Monday will be a better day for her. According to the report, no bail was set, and Althea will be forced to serve her time in county jail. Maybe she’ll learn a lesson about ignoring a judge who is ordering her to be quiet.

Her former Love & Hip Hop Atlanta counterpart Benzino commented on the situation but then quickly deleted his post. Starcasm got the screenshot, though.

The meme that Benzino posted said, “I can’t stop the rumors from starting, and I can’t really change the people’s minds who started them. All I can do is sit back and laugh at all these low life people who have nothing better to do.”

It’s unclear if Althea Heart and Benzino are actually still together or not. The reality TV couple has sparred on social media so often and so many times that it’s hard to tell. They were in Cobb County court for a hearing and ended up arguing with each other. Although there’s no information on the specifics of the hearing, it has been assumed that the couple (or former couple) were dealing with the legalities of raising their son. There’s really no other reason the two would have to visit a judge and end up fighting with each other.

Althea and Benzino appeared on Season 4 of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars not long ago. Despite some pretty explosive scenes, the couple ultimately ended the series when Benzino proposed.

According to the International Business Times, Benzino and Althea broke up soon after their son was born in November. The couple seems to have been on and off ever since. However, every time they are off, the drama is high on Instagram as the pair trade jabs in the most public ways possible.

During one of their more recent fights, Althea Heart accused Benzino of using their son to get attention on Instagram. She said that he wasn’t actually as involved with Baby Zino as he’d like everyone to believe. She has also accused Benzino of trying to get custody of their son and taking the little boy away from her.

Benzino responded and called all of the accusations lies.

He wrote, “Please don’t feed into lies and deception, that the DEVILS work, we all about love and God over here.”

It’s pretty clear that Althea and Benzino aren’t good for each other. Their constant and very public fighting may have kept them in the spotlight, but not in a good way. It certainly won’t be good for their baby to be able to read their bickering on a public forum in the future.
