Gwen Stefani’s Son Kingston Face Swaps With Blake Shelton, Gwen Calls Fans ‘Smelly’

Gwen Stefani’s son Kingston is such a big Blake Shelton fan that he actually knows the words to one of the country singer’s older songs.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were forced to spend Saturday night apart because they were on opposite sides of the country performing for their devoted fans. Gwen missed Blake so much that she desperately begged her Twitter followers to find her a decent live stream of her boyfriend’s performance on Periscope. Her fans eventually delivered, but Kingston also did his part to make his mom feel a bit better about being apart from her boyfriend. According to People, the 10-year-old son of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale entertained his mom by getting goofy with a few different Snapchat filters.

The Gwen and Blake Instagram page shared a collection of Kingston’s silly Snapchat videos, which show him making use of the popular dog filter, a wacky gummy worm filter that makes it look like one of the squishy candies is coming out of his nose, a “Wanted” poster filter, a Sausage Party movie filter, and the face swap filter. As you can see, Kingston has seemingly swapped faces with a photo of Blake Shelton, and he’s belting out the singer’s 2011 song, “God Gave Me You.” According to the Boot, Blake decided to record a cover of the contemporary Christian song after hearing it on the radio when he and ex-wife Miranda Lambert were “at a low point” in their relationship.

Perhaps Kingston was attempting to make Gwen Stefani feel better because Blake Shelton wasn’t fulfilling the “Misery” singer’s request to share a few Snapchats with her and her fans. On Saturday, Gwen took to Twitter to beg Blake to make use of the app before his performance at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles.

Unfortunately for Gwen, Blake was experiencing a little Snapchat frustration last night. During a Twitter conversation with a fan, Blake admitted that he doesn’t know how to use Snapchat and can’t remember his password.

“I still don’t know how snapchat works,” the fan wrote.

“Me either… I can’t even remember my password!! Why do I even need a damn password?!!! It’s MY phone!!!” Blake responded.

Earlier this month, Gwen Stefani revealed that Blake Shelton hadn’t been on Snapchat for a long time because she lost his password. As the Daily Mail reports, Gwen used her own Snapchat to inform her fans that she had finally helped her boyfriend regain access to his account. However, it looks like Gwen may have to text Blake his password whenever they’re not together if she wants him to use the app.

Blake Shelton has already accompanied Gwen Stefani on a few legs of her “This Is What the Truth Feels Like Tour,” but something hilarious happened during last night’s concert in Charlotte, North Carolina, that might make him sad that he missed it. According to the Charlotte Observer, Gwen decided to leave the stage to mingle with her fans near the end of the show. However, she didn’t last long in the pit; Gwen informed her sweaty audience members that she had to stop signing autographs because she was being overwhelmed by their body odor.

“Up close you guys are really, really smelly, and really sweaty,” Gwen joked.

The singer reportedly spent just a few seconds among her pungent, perspiring admirers before deciding that all that body fluid was simply unbearable.

“I’m out of here. Gross,” the singer said.

Gwen Stefani’s fans were reportedly quick to forgive her for calling them “smelly” and “gross.” As soon as she was out of the pit, she treated them to her “favorite song on the new record.” The song in question is “Rare,” which also just so happens to be Blake Shelton’s favorite song on the This Is What the Truth Feels Like album. This is likely because it’s a flattering tune that’s all about him.

Gwen clearly isn’t a fan of stinky fans, but Blake Shelton might be interested to know that she likes her men smelly and unwashed.

“Don’t shave, don’t shower, don’t care,” Gwen Stefani once told the Belfast Telegraph of her affinity for men who don’t mind being dirty. “I like guys who are really stinky and wear the same clothes every day. I think what makes a man be sexy is not being self aware. That’s what’s really cute to me.”
