‘Big Brother 18’ Spoilers: As Nominated Houseguest Campaigns to Flip The House, Paul Is Fed Up And Heated Confrontation Erupts [Spoilers]

In the early morning hours of Sunday, July 24, 2016, the Big Brother 18 house was still jumping, as one nominated houseguest tried to convince others the Power of Veto (POV) could be used to save him and send a replacement nominee out the backdoor. Another cast member became fed up with the behavior, and lost his cool, as fellow houseguests attempted to convince him that confrontation was a bad idea.

As Joker’s Updates live feed spoilers revealed, James is the current Head of Household (HOH) and nominated Frank and Bridgette for eviction. The two nominees had hope that one of them could win the POV, but as fate would have it, neither did, and Michelle was the challenge victor.

On Saturday evening, Frank and Bridgette could be seen on Big Brother After Dark looking hopeless and solemn, almost as if they had both resigned themselves to the fact one of their ranks would be leaving the Big Brother 18 house Thursday. However, later Sunday morning, Frank seemed to get a second wind regarding the game and cornered Michelle to try and convince her to use the POV on him.

As the two players spoke in the Nairobi room, Paul and several other Big Brother 18 cast members – Zakiyah, Da’Vonne, and James – entered and on live feeds were seen being swiftly shooed off by Frank, who admitted he was trying to get Michelle to use the POV on him.

This did not sit well at all with Paul, who left with the others, but continued to dwell on Frank’s words. Paul’s ire continued to brew, as time went by and he would not simmer down, no matter how many of his fellow Big Brother 18 cast mates told him to relax. Paul was heard on live feeds saying it made him upset that Frank was telling Michelle as a “superfan” of Big Brother, she needs to use the POV.

Paul further said to Paulie and Nicole that Frank is a manipulator and everyone falls for his lines, but Paulie disagreed, saying no one is swayed by Frank’s arguments. Paulie’s reasoning did not calm Paul one bit, as he seemed dead set on calling Frank out in front of the Big Brother 18 house.

According to Joker’s Updates, after winding himself up, Paul finally blew a fuse and began yelling at Frank in the kitchen area. Frank had been calmly mulling about the room when Paul made his move.

Paul aggressively walked into the room and began yelling, “… what’s the end game now bro?” Frank seemed stymied, and asked “For what?” Paul explained that if Frank is saved by the POV, there must be some sort of plan in play. Paul asserted he’s worried because he may go up on the block as a replacement nominee.

Michelle tried to interject saying she and Frank were simply conversing, and Paul quickly shut her down. Frank asked Paul why he is so concerned, and Paul noted that he’s been on the block twice and believes Frank was responsible.

On live feeds, Paul continued saying how things kept changing and this was what was getting on his nerves. Frank decided to respond loudly and yelled, “I’m on the block bro! What do you want me to do? Do you want me to lay over and die?”

Paul continued to accuse Frank of throwing him under the bus, to which Frank asked, “When?” Paul said Frank mocked his “friendship” line multiple times, however, Frank said he was only joking.

Paul became even more animated, arguing he cannot trust Frank because he says one thing and does another. Frank tried to calm Paul by saying he doesn’t want him on the block and then asserted, “I don’t know why you’re coming at me, I’m on the block. I don’t have any power to put you on the block.”

As the confrontation continued, Paul claimed Frank had pulled people into rooms and then asked him to leave, and then asked for Paul’s help, which appeared to baffle Frank. Paul said he’s very annoyed, to which Frank stated, “I’m sorry you’re annoyed, Paul.”

Frank kept telling Paul he wasn’t using his name at all, but Paul continued to say he has trouble believing what Frank tells him. At one point, when Paul became overly excited and seemed to become confused about what he was trying to say, Frank asked if he would like to talk privately. Paul agreed and the two Big Brother 18 houseguests left the kitchen area and walked into another room.

As the discussion continued, Frank explained to Paul he wants Michelle to save him with the POV, and James to replace him with Da’Vonne. Paul continued to be resistant with Frank and didn’t seem to believe anything he said.

Not long after the confrontation was over, Joker’s Updates reports that Paul began relaying his conversation with Frank to other houseguests, greatly embellishing what was said. In fact, Paul could be heard on live feeds claiming Frank basically became so intimidated by Paul that he stumbled over his words and couldn’t get an explanation out regarding his game play.

Some on Twitter have been negatively reacting to Paul’s outburst, with @judy3267 writing, “… Paul is awesome in his own mind and a Liar in his own right;” and @TheBryPie tweeting, “I don’t think there is anyone as impressed with Paul’s game than Paul himself.”

No doubt the negotiating and scheming will continue until the eleventh hour, and until the POV ceremony is over and the votes for eviction are finally cast, nothing is set in stone.
