Ariana Grande Is Breaking Free From Her ‘Donutgate’ Fiasco

You won’t believe what Ariana Grande did to her hair now. The pop star has been changing up her look a lot lately. Back in May, she went honey blonde, and then she rocked pink streaks for her latest Viva la Glam campaign for MAC Cosmetics. Now, Ariana Grande has bangs.

Ariana Grande is literally breaking free from all of the drama in her life. The 23-year-old’s past has been haunting once again, but she doesn’t care. Grande did what most women do. She changed up her look once again with some bangs. She took to Twitter and Instagram to debut her new look on Saturday evening, July 23, according to a report via E! News.

“Change. feelin free. happy. Banginnnnnnn,” she wrote on her social media accounts. “Life is wild and change is f***ing fantastic. (Not just talking bangs).”

For those who were wondering why Ari decided to get bangs, she explained that in her next tweet. “But yeah bangs. why do y’all always gotta be right about everything. I love you. ty for loving me and caring and having my best interest at heart. I love u.”

It sounds like the “Break Free” singer has found some comfort in her new hairstyle. According to her Instagram, Aaron Light is responsible for Grande’s new hairstyle while Omar Roakel Lizama is the makeup artist who created her look, in case you’re wondering how you can get your hands on her lipstick. But it’s hard to tell if Grande’s new hairstyle is for real or just a clip-in hair piece.

The pop star has been sticking to her signature ponytail. It looks like that style has been a source of comfort for her, as well. In her Billboard cover story, she revealed that she will still rock her ponytail when she’s well into her 90s.

“I will say it until I’m an old-ass lady with my tits out at Whole Foods. I’ll be in the produce aisle, naked at 95, with a sensible ponytail, one strand of hair left on my head and a Chanel bow. Mark my words. See you there with my 95 dogs.”

Grande has had quite the year. She’s released her third studio album Dangerous Woman, her new perfume, and has scored a role in Hairspray Live! as Tracy Turnblad’s BFF Penny Pingleton, according to E! News. But Grande’s past has been haunting her yet again. WikiLeaks has just published the email hack of the Democratic National Committee database on Friday, July 22, and surprisingly, one of those emails involves Grande.

In an email between DNC Finance Chair Zachary Allen and White House employees, he asked officials to vet Ariana from performing at the White House gala. Some deemed the singer’s #Donutgate scandal to be too controversial for the event. The video footage showed Ariana licking donuts while saying, “I hate America,” for which she later apologized in two YouTube videos, a series of tweets, and again in an interview with Good Morning America.

Also noted in the emails is the singer’s defense of her brother, Frankie Grande, after she slammed homophobic fans on Twitter.

“He is incredible and i am SO proud!!!!” she reportedly tweeted to a hater at the time. “Oh and also ‘that homo’ gets more a** than you’ll ever get in your life. k miss thing?”

Summarizing Ariana Grande’s past controversies, White House staffer Kevin Snowden wrote, “Ariana Butera-video caught her licking other peoples’ donuts while saying she hates America; Republican Congressman used this video and said it was a double standard that liberals were not upset with her like they are with Trump who criticized Mexicans; cursed out a person on Twitter after that person used an offensive word towards her brother.”

To which White House employee Bobby Schmuck responded with a resounding, “Nope, sorry.”
