‘Alien Invasion’ Alarm Raised After UFO Hunters Mistook Old Footage Showing Atlas V Rocket Launch Over Miami For Massive ET Craft Over Azerbaijan [Video]

An old video clip showing a group of airport workers staring up into the sky in astonishment after a massive object trailing a massive plume of blue smoke appeared in the night sky over Miami has resurfaced online and gone viral.

Although it was later confirmed that the footage, first uploaded online by YouTube user Modesto Figueroa on September 2, 2015, shows an Atlas V rocket launch from Cape Canaveral as seen over Miami International Airport, some viewers on LiveLeak mistook the footage for a new UFO sighting after it was uploaded by user TechAddict99 on July 20, 2016, under the misleading title “Unknown Object Over Azerbaijan — July 2016.”

As the footage went viral in its second incarnation, it sparked a debate, with viewers speculating about its nature and UFO enthusiasts raising alarm about an ongoing “alien invasion” from Space.

Oddly, a number of news websites, including the Daily Mail, the Sun, and Hollywood Life also mistook the video for a new “UFO sighting” over Miami.

The Inquisitr reported the spectacular sighting over Miami in September, 2015.

According to the Inquisitr, the Navy launched the rocket, carrying a communication satellite, into space without notifying the public. Thus, the unexpected spectacular display over Miami and several parts of Florida sparked UFO and meteorite rumors, forcing the National Weather Service office in Miami to clarify the situation with a tweet that the “UFO” was an “Atlas V rocket launch from Cape Canaveral” and not an alien UFO or a meteor.

Despite the deceptive presentation on LiveLeak as a UFO filmed in July, 2016, over Azerbaijan, the footage presents a spectacular and enthralling sight.

It shows the Atlas V rocket streaking across the night sky with a massive blue trail of smoke. It shows several stunned airport workers filming it on their phones while others looked up wondering what the mysterious object could be.

A number of other video clips of the spectacular sighting, filmed from different locations in Miami, Florida, are still available on YouTube (see below).

Although the sighting did not attract much public attention outside Florida, a subsequent similar sighting in November, 2015, over Southern California sparked mass UFO sighting hysteria.

The bright blue-white plume of smoke that appeared in the night sky over California was later identified by the naval authorities as a Trident II missile test. It was fired from USS Kentucky in the Pacific off the coast of Southern California.

But before the statement by the military authorities, the strange aerial object had sparked a frenzy of UFO speculation on social media.

A photo showing a strange-looking pink creature uploaded to Facebook went viral after conspiracy theorists claimed it was an alien astronaut that fell from the crashing bright blue light UFO, according to the Inquisitr.

A Facebook user, identified as Gianna Peponis, a resident of San Jose in California, had uploaded an image of the “alien creature,” claiming she saw it in her backyard just after the UFO sighting over Southern California.

“I heard something scream at like 11.30 last night and went out on my side yard and found this thing.”

She claimed she ran outside her house after she heard screaming in her backyard and found the corpse of the mysterious pink creature on the ground.

Her bizarre story sparked a frenzy of fanciful speculation with suggestions including an “alien fetus,” an “alien facehuggger,” and an alien astronaut who fell from the crashing California UFO.

Alien hunter Scott Waring declared the weird pink creature the product of failed human-alien hybrid experiment.

“This odd creature is a newborn and was found right after the giant blue UFO shot across the California sky,” wrote a UFO blogger. “It is widely known that aliens have in the past done experiments with human/alien hybrids. This could be a failed experiment of that.”
