Kim Kardashian Planned Taylor Swift Take Down For Months, ‘Every Move Is Calculated’

Kim Kardashian allegedly planned her Taylor Swift take down for months before she leaked the bombshell footage of Taylor approving Kanye West’s song “Famous” on Snapchat.

According to a new report by Radar Online, Kardashian calculated how and when she would release the video footage of Taylor and Kanye’s phone conversation in order for the leak to get as much promotion as possible for herself and the Kardashian family’s reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

“Kim planned this out well in advance. For Kim, every move is calculated,” a Kardashian source told the site of Kim’s big Taylor take down, claiming that Kardashian perfectly timed the video’s release to coincide with the most recent episode of the E! reality show to create as much buzz and publicity as she could.

“She knew the footage of her talking about Taylor to her family would air in July,” the insider said, “so she wanted to time the big reveal with the show.”

“[Kim] wanted to stand by her man, and get more exposure for the show, too,” the source added.

E! News also revealed that Kardashian had been sitting on the candid footage for a number of months, reporting that Kim was growing tired of Swift’s fans claiming that video evidence of Taylor and Kanye’s exchange did not exist.

“Kim just felt like she had to defend her husband,” a source told the site of why Kardashian waited so long to release the footage to the world. “All of Taylor’s fans were tweeting saying they didn’t even have evidence or a tape and were urging Kim to post it. So she did.”

As fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will already know, the July 17 episode of the reality series, titled “Got MILF?,” showed Kim discussing her drama with Swift in a candid conversation with sister Kourtney.

In a clip obtained by E! News, Kim defends her decision to call out Swift in a recent candid interview with GQ Magazine after Swift publicly denied being aware of the lyrics about her in Kanye West’s controversial single, “Famous.”

“I never talk s*** about anyone publicly, especially in interviews,” Kim tells Kourtney in the candid scene from Keeping Up with the Kardashians. “But I was just, like, I had so had it.”

“I just felt like I wanted to defend him in it because it’s like, she legitimately quote says, ‘As soon as I get on that Grammy red carpet I’m gonna tell all the press. Like I was in on it,'” Kardashian continued in the episode, which aired just hours before Kim took to Snapchat to leak footage of Taylor approving the song via a phone call.

Kim then continued to slam Swift in the episode, claiming that Taylor used the song, in which West raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that b**** famous,” as being “just another way to play the victim.”

“I feel like I’ve had it with people blatantly treating my husband a certain way, making him look a certain way,” Kim continued during the July 17 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

“Kanye is always so honest and speaks his mind. And you know, when we were first dating, people would always talk s*** and he always had my back,” Kardashian added. “At this point, I really don’t give a f*** so I’ll do whatever to protect my husband.”

Just hours after the episode aired, Kim took to Snapchat to release footage of Taylor giving her approval to the lyric “For all my Southside n***** that know me best/I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex,” in which Swift did admit that she would reveal that she was in on the joke at the 2016 Grammy Awards.
