Cast Of ‘Real Housewives Of Sydney’ Revealed

The cast of Real Housewives of Sydney has been revealed, and they are seven diverse women who know how to bring the drama. Though they might be strangers to American audiences, most are well known in their home country of Australia. Even the cast realizes that they are over the top and eccentric. Though most of the ladies claim that they are in it to be an inspiration and represent their country, most seem to have an agenda in terms of promoting their business or career.

According to the Inquisitr, Ladies of London isn’t officially a Real Housewives show, but it might as well be. With two seasons under their belt, Ladies of London has made a mark on U.S. audiences, and gained almost as much popularity as a Real Housewives franchise. While it might take a bit longer for American audiences to warm up to a foreign Real Housewives, critics think that Real Housewives of Sydney will be at least as popular as Real Housewives of Melbourne.

The Daily Mail officially introduced the new Real Housewives of Sydney to the world, and they each come with their own drama and scandals. First, there is Melissa Tkautz, who most Australians know from her days as a pop diva in the 90s and as a soap star. Tkautz claims she’s on the shy side, but that can’t possibly last on a Real Housewives show.

“I’m quite introverted, so I think this [show] will be good for my self-esteem. We’re all over the top, we’re all eccentric, we’ve been chosen for a reason.”

Next is Persian beauty expert Matty Samaei, who runs a luxury beauty clinic Medispa. Samaei has made several appearances on television giving beauty tips and has an elite following.

“Hopefully I can inspire other women in Australia. I’m really not in it to boost my business, I hope that I can be more of an inspirational person.”

Victoria Rees is a socialite described as having a resemblance to Real Housewives of Melbourne‘s Gamble Breaux. Rees has been married twice, and is now single and focused on her son.

“I met my second husband the day I left my first husband.”

Built in already is the drama of who slept with whom, and who is the Queen Bee.

The Daily Mail also put a spotlight on the claim that one real housewife slept with another housewife’s husband. Pauline Hanson has claimed for years that she slept with Lisa Oldfield’s husband David. And Lisa doesn’t plan to sweep it under the rug on Real Housewives of Sydney.

“The idea of Pauline Hanson is like masturbating with a cheese grater – slightly amusing, but mostly painful.”

David Oldfield has dismissed Hanson’s claim as “fanciful” and “ridiculous.”

Lisa Oldfield has been married to David since 2001, but Pauline claims she had sex with the former politician in 1996, on the first day they met. Lisa denies that this is true, and claims that even if it was, it’s poor form.

“Her suggestion is that they slept together on what was essentially a first date so it was very poor form and really a bad reflection on her I think.”

But the Daily Telegraph says, like all Real Housewives casting, there are some hurt feelings when some don’t make the cut. Tali Jatali had told all of her friends that she was going to be on the show, and was devastated that she didn’t make the cut. The model/fashionista says she had nine callbacks, but was then told no thank you.

The Real Housewives of Sydney will most likely be announced tomorrow, although I didn’t get the show, the ride was so fun & I’m sure the woman chosen will be brilliant.”

Will you be watching the Real Housewives of Sydney? Are you familiar with any of the housewives?
