Jesus Christ’s Wife charged with Fraud for passing bad checks

A woman in Jacksonville Florida who claims to be the wife of Jesus Christ, was jailed Monday, Aug. 10 on fraud charges, for trying to buy a car using bad checks.

25 year old Emma Kim-Tashis Harrison walked into a car dealership looking to buy a new vehicle. She settled on a car that cost nearly $70,000 and pulled out her checkbook. When the manager contacted her bank to clear the funds, a bank employee informed him that the account was fraudulent and that the check was worthless. The check was signed “Mr. and Mrs. Jesus and Emma Christ.”

Police were called and they found several credit cards and other financial documents in her possession that were fraudulent as well, many of which used Jesus and/or Christ as the cardholder.

Harrison was detained and when questioned, she told police that her husband, Jesus Christ, would come to the dealership next week to sign the paperwork and pick up the car.

Harrison, who didn’t even have a valid drivers license, was charged with several counts of fraud and is being held in jail in Duval County without parole.
