Harry Styles Speaks Out About Taylor Swift’s Recent Dramas, ‘Feels Bad’ For His Ex-Girlfriend

Harry Styles reportedly “feels bad” for ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift following her recent string of dramas with Calvin Harris, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian.

Despite Harry and Taylor enjoying a short-lived romance that lasted from 2012 until 2013 and reports claiming that the former couple may not have ended on the best terms, sources are now revealing that Styles isn’t actually a fan of seeing his ex take so much heat on social media in recent weeks.

“They have definitely had their differences, but Harry actually feels kind of bad for Taylor,” a source alleged to Hollywood Life of how the One Direction singer really feels about Swift’s ex Calvin Harris calling her out on social media and Kim Kardashian leaking footage of her on Snapchat.

“[Harry] doesn’t understand this whole Twitter bashing with people taking sides,” the site’s source continued of Styles.

The insider then went on to reveal that although Harry isn’t planning on publicly defending his former girlfriend on social media or in interviews anytime soon, Styles does think that things have now gone too far when it comes to Swift’s latest feuds.

“He’s not about to voice his opinion,” Hollywood Life’s Harry insider revealed, “but thinks the whole thing has gotten out of control.”

Taylor has certainly taken a whole lot of heat in recent days, starting with when Calvin put her on serious blast on Twitter on July 14.

Harris posted a number of tweets on social media directed at Taylor in which he accused her of trying to “bury” him after Swift’s representative confirmed that she wrote his latest hit “This Is What You Came For” under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg.

“I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym,” Harris tweeted in part.

“[It’s] hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though,” Calvin added.

Kim Kardashian then took things one step further just days later, taking to Snapchat to post footage of Styles’ ex-girlfriend appearing to approve the lyrics to Kanye West’s track “Famous,” despite Taylor previously claiming that she was unaware of the song’s contents.

Reports alleging that Harry Styles “feels bad” for Taylor amid her recent dramas come just weeks after the site claimed Styles actually dished out a little advice to Swift following her surprising split from Harris in late May.

According to a Harry insider who spoke to the site earlier this year, Styles encouraged Swift to hold off on writing a scathing diss track following her Calvin breakup for fears that it could affect a possible reconciliation.

“Harry doesn’t think their break-up is a done deal,” an insider close to Harry told Hollywood Life following Swift and Styles’ split, though it appears that the two are most definitely over following Harris’s recent diss and Taylor’s new romance with Tom Hiddleston.

“Harry knows Taylor’s thing is to write about her ex boyfriends, but he thinks she should hold off when it comes to Calvin,” the insider continued. “He thinks she may regret it and could hurt the chances of them reconciling in the future.”

But while Styles is allegedly handing out a little advice to his ex, Harry and Taylor have both been pretty coy when it comes to speaking out about the past relationship in public.

Back in 2013, Harry was quizzed about his past romance with Taylor during an interview with Britain’s Capital FM radio station, where Styles actually had nothing but praise for the “Shake It Off” singer just months after Harry and Taylor confirmed their split.

“She’s a great performer and she always performs great. She’s always good on the stage,” Styles said of Swift three years ago. “She’s been doing it a long time. She knows what she’s doing on stage.”

Harry didn’t give too much more away when it came to his past relationship with Taylor, but he did admit that he knows why fans are so curious about their romance and subsequent breakup.

“I understand why people would want to know stuff like that. I get it,” Styles said of his Swift split. “If someone does stuff like that then I want to know about it, too. I guess it’s just kind of… It is what it is.”
