‘Teen Mom’ Star Adam Lind Did Not Quit Despite Reports, Currently Filming And Back To His Trouble-Making Ways

He isn’t quitting after all! Despite an awkward interview with Dr. Drew, it looks like Adam Lind will be returning for another season of Teen Mom 2. Will Lind return to his trouble-making ways?

According to Starcasm, Lind announced his departure from the reality show during the Season 7 reunion. While chatting with Dr. Drew, Lind explained how he was tired of playing the part of the bad guy and wanted out. Even more, Lind revealed that he wasn’t actually obligated to stay for the reunion and refused to answer questions.

However, an insider source revealed that Lind is currently on set filming for Season 8. Lind was spotted at a softball game with Chelsea Houska, Aubree, and an MTV camera crew at his side.

“He attended that game with his fiancée Stasia and daughter Paislee, and basically the whole time just whined that whatever he did on camera would be edited to make him look bad,” the source explained. “The producer tried to assure Adam that wasn’t true, but he still caused quite the scene. Stasia was basically just standing there, silent, the whole time. She looked really uncomfortable.”

Apart from the softball scene, the Hollywood Gossip reports that camera crews were spotted at Lind’s home in South Dakota.

Clearly, Lind is participating in another season of Teen Mom 2 despite his past comments. That being said, there is a possibility that MTV is exploiting a loophole in contracts in order to get Lind in front of the camera.

There is a chance that producers are filming the second half of Season 7 instead of the beginning of Season 8. Lind and his co-stars sign a contract for an entire season before getting paid, which would explain why Lind is back in action.

Whatever the truth, producers are not happy with how Lind is acting on set. In fact, the source added that Lind’s paycheck might be withheld until he changes his attitude.

“If he is not doing the job they are paying him to do, why should he keep getting paid? That’s their feelings on it,” the insider explained.

According to the International Business Times, Lind stirred up a lot of drama during his last appearance on the reality show. During his interview with Dr. Drew, Lind was unwilling to answer any questions and revealed that he was leaving the show.

“I’m not going to give you guys any more fuel to the fire. I want out of this life. I’m f***ing sick of it,” he stated in the interview. “Money’s not even worth it anymore.”

If Lind felt so strongly about leaving the series, then why is he filming again? Unless Lind had a big change of heart, it appears as though the contract loophole is the best explanation for his return. After all, Lind is currently in a heated custody battle with Chelsea and may need all the monetary support he can get.

Despite the drama surrounding Lind, Chelsea doesn’t appear fazed by the situation. Not only did Chelsea share a photo from the softball game on Instagram, but she also revealed that another baby is on the way.

“It’s that time of year again!” she wrote alongside the softball photo of Aubree.

Chelsea is also preparing for her upcoming with Cole DeBoer. The couple hasn’t announced the gender of their new baby, though they are eager to find out.

Chelsea and DeBoer are expected to tie the knot this coming fall. MTV has yet to reveal when the new season – or half-season – of Teen Mom 2 will premiere, but it will likely air sometime next year.
