Duchess Kate And Prince William Accused Of ‘Animal Cruelty, ‘Monster’ Prince George Gives Ice Cream to Family Dog
In the middle of all the delight over little Prince George’s third birthday and all the fabulous birthday celebrations for the royal preschooler, one group of royal watchers is angry and not at all impressed with Prince George’s parents. The disgruntled fans were upset about an otherwise adorable shot of little Prince George posing with his pet.

Although Duchess Kate and Prince William usually have a high popularity rating in England and around the world, they did something during Prince George’s birthday photo shoot that made a lot of people very angry. CTV News reports that the birthday photos started out well enough, with Prince George “playing on a swing and sitting with the family pet, a dog named Lupo.”

While the little fellow was happily swinging, petting Lupo, and showing off one of the adorable outfits Kate finds for him, Prince George decided he’d like to share a treat with his pet. According to the Mirror,Prince George and Lupo were hanging out together on a picnic blanket spread out in the garden of Anmer Hall, Kate and William’s family home.
The young prince had some birthday ice cream in the form of a Magnum, a popular British treat made with Belgian chocolate. George only wanted to be nice when, with “a cheeky smile” he held out his white chocolate ice cream bar to Lupo, a spaniel.
The problem was that none of the adults present, including Prince William and Duchess Kate, bothered to correct the little prince for giving ice cream to his dog. It could be that they didn’t want to do anything negative in the middle of the photo shoot celebrating his third birthday, but animal lovers don’t see it that way. Dog lovers, animal health professionals, and even the RSPCA quickly reacted to the shot of Prince George and Lupa with their birthday ice cream. Although some people just loved the cuteness of the pic, others were very upset, and even suggested prison for the little birthday boy.
One Twitter user called Prince George a “Monarchist Monster” and pointed out that dogs can die from eating ice cream. He went on to say that even if the consequence isn’t that serious, they “have diarrhea everywhere.”
Others thought that blaming the little boy was going too far since he’s only a three year old prince, and his parents are the ones who should be held responsible for the ice cream incident.
You have to question the world we live in when some moron calls 3yr old Prince George a 'Monarchist Monster' for feeding dog ice cream!!

The “royals have come under fire” in the British press after they allowed the tyke to “feed ice cream to the family dog.” The Daily Mail reported that dogs are actually “highly allergic” to any form of dairy product, including ice cream, and “animal cruelty campaigners” were only too ready to blast that message to all the royal fans.
The critics were especially concerned because this isn’t a photo that will be quickly forgotten and disappear. The super cute ice cream photo of Prince George is going to show up over and over again in “many family albums across the country.” Royal family followers collect everything to do with Kate, William, George, and Charlotte, including photos for albums on and off line. Twitter user @Royal_beans wanted to create the biggest album of Prince George’s birthday photos when he was only one year old.

@MyLusciousLife has an online “Happy 3rd Birthday Prince George” album of the pics and didn’t even mention the ice cream.

There were some royal fans who didn’t take Prince George’s ice cream sharing gesture nearly as seriously. Some even thought it was a bit of a joke, and suggested that if getting ice cream is cruel, dogs are okay with that.
Prince George accused of animal cruelty for feeding ice cream to his dog. More cruelty say dogs.

What do you think? Should Kate and William have prevented Prince George from offering ice cream to Lupo, or at least have kept the photo private so as not to set a bad example?
