Selena Gomez ‘Determined’ To Win Justin Bieber’s Love Away From Kourtney Kardashian?
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have shared one of the sweetest love stories in celebrity couple history. And while fans who knew them as Jelena (Justin + Selena) were sad when they split, they recently have found new hope that the two would rekindle their romance, with reports that Gomez had renewed her love for Bieber.
Why now? OK magazine cites a source who claims that when she learned about the “hot fling” between Justin and reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian, Selena became jealous. But it’s not just the hookups that Bieber and Kardashian reportedly are enjoying that has resulted in a desire to renew her Jelena joy, according to the insider.
“[Selena] realized life is short, so she called [Justin] and told him she loved him.”
Bieber reportedly was candid with Gomez, informing her that he is once again dating Kourtney. Although there had been speculation that Justin and Kardashian had split, this insider alleges that the 22-year-old pop singer and 37-year-old reality TV star are still together, but keeping their hookups out of the public spotlight.
“They’ve been so careful that some of Justin’s team don’t even know they’re together,” added the insider.
The revelation about Kourtney caused Selena to become “enraged,” claims the source.
“Now [Selena is] incessantly calling, texting, and emailing [Justin]. She’s determined to get him back.”
However, Gossip Cop is contradicting the report that Gomez wants to win Bieber from Kardashian, describing it as “false,” and citing its own insider to provide a different version of the latest episode in Justin and Selena’s soap opera love story.
As for any recent signs of the possibility that Selena and Justin could rekindle their romance? Last month, Jelena fans were joyful at the news that Bieber followed Gomez again on Instagram, reported Us Weekly.
The move was significant because Justin had “unfollowed” Selena in November 2014. Fans instantly responded when they discovered that Bieber was following his former girlfriend again, heading to Twitter to respond and share their happiness.

“Justin Bieber recently followed Selena on Instagram,” posted one fan.
“Waiting for Selena to log on to Instagram and follow Justin back but knowing [her] she probably won’t …” sadly chimed in another Jelena Belieber.
Earlier this year, in March, Jelena fans also went wild when they spotted a throwback photo posted by Bieber. The picture showed Justin and Selena kissing, dating from a time when their love seemed destined to last forever.
Many fans referenced “Jelena” in their comments, while others speculated that the photo was a signal that Justin wanted to rekindle his romance with Selena.
“Don’t worry biebs if it’s meant to be it will be. You two will be together,” posted one hopeful fan.
Gomez reportedly even viewed the photo and responded, noting “Perfect” in the comments area of Bieber’s post. She subsequently jump-started even more rumors about a renewed romance when she attended Justin’s concert at the Los Angeles Staples Center.
In the past, Bieber has been candid about the love that he still feels for Gomez. Justin and Selena stayed together for several years, dating in an on-again, off-again pattern from 2011 to 2014. One year later, Bieber expressed both his love for and pride in Gomez.
“I’m proud of the woman she is today,” emphasized Justin in November 2015. “When you love someone that much, even if something comes between you, it’s a love that never really dies.”
And for some Jelena believers, the hope still lingers just as much as the love.
