Taylor Swift Had A Dream Connected To Kimye Recording Long Before Feud About ‘Famous’ Track

The controversy between Taylor Swift and Kanye West over the now-infamous “Famous” track rages on all thanks to Kanye’s wife, reality star Kim Kardashian, Snapchatting a recording of Taylor actually giving permission for Kanye to use her name in his song.

Although Taylor has been in the public eye since she was a youngster and is used to having all eyes on her, the star admits that she often feels anxiety due to the constant spotlight that she likely would prefer to escape.

As Refinery29 notes, the songstress discussed her anxious tendencies in an interview with Capital FM. The interview was given back in 2015, before the “Famous” feud took off, yet the remarks by Swift almost predict the current situation involving Kanye West.

“My reality, even when I’m not dreaming, is peppered with anxiety, just like ridiculous anxiety. I have a lot of issues with buildings like this, just ’cause I feel like someone has bugged the room and is either videoing me or recording me.”

Berry then referred to the microphones in front of Swift and reminded her that they were likely on, to which Taylor clarified that she’s more paranoid about her dressing room being bugged.

“No, I know, but like dressing rooms and stuff, so that’s one of my paranoias. Anxiety dreams, I always have nightmares that I’m being framed for murder. And then I’m being framed so well that I can’t remember if I did it or not, in the dream. So, that really winds me up…If you want to talk about all my issues with anxiety, we could be here for days.”

Does the star have psychic abilities that cause her to suffer from anxiety like she is now? Likely not, yet it is a massive coincidence that Kim Kardashian used the tactic of secretly recording Swift and shared it with her millions of fans and followers. The Grammy-winner went on to share another detailed and anxiety-ridden dream she has that also is related to her current situation.

“There’s a dream that, any time I’m paparazzi’d out, which is a lot, I have dreams that night that they’re in my room taking pictures of me while I’m sleeping.”

Regardless of Swift’s paranoia coming true, reports suggest that legal action may be taken by Taylor following Kardashian’s Snapchat post, seeing as it is illegal to record someone without their knowledge. However, new information released by TMZ indicates that Taylor actually has no case against Kim and Kanye for the sharing of the conversation due to the fact that she was aware that other people, including Rick Rubin, were in the room with Kanye and were contributing to the conversation about the track. The site indicates that in the full version of the recording, Rick chimes in on the conversation, which means that Taylor was a part of an open conversation and not one in confidence.

Stereogum shares more details on the subject.

“Under California law, it’s a crime to release a ‘confidential communication’ when the other party does not know they’re being taped, but ‘confidential communication’ does not include conversations that ‘may be overheard.’ Swift can hear Rick Rubin and several others contributing to the conversation. Thus, it looks like she’ll have to settle for writing the next ‘Bad Blood’ about Kimye in lieu of legal recompense.”

Swift is likely ready to fire back at the couple in her own way by writing a cutting track in response to Kanye and Kim’s ongoing and incessant need to prove her wrong. Knowing Swift’s talent, it will likely be a hit.
